Creative Work That Doesn't Deserve A Thread V5 <Dongery Penis Edition> - General

Just me being curious (and being stuck with colour composition) could people slap on what colours they would put on this city scene? [IMG]http://i52.tinypic.com/2qbvjas.jpg[/IMG] Just add base colours or what ever you prefer. I just can't get the depth and then the correct 'medieval building' colouring when I try it just looks like a mismatch :/

always do, It's just the ones I've used just don't seem to fit.

I'd go for golden yellows and browns like in this: [img]http://fc05.deviantart.net/fs71/f/2010/198/6/b/Warhammer_LCG__Basha__sBloodaxe_by_Cryptcrawler.jpg[/img] Maybe with a dark purple/light blue/maroon sky depending on the mood of the piece.

Thanks that'll be helpful with the woodwork and stonework. The problem is I was hoping to have a clear blue sky and that means that to create a feeling of depth the far buildings need to have a bluish Tint and it just looks weird with brown and the cream/white of the plastered walls of the near buildings.

I'm trying to work out exactly what it is you've created yourself. Looks like some stuff copied and pasted on to a grunge/paper-texture background... and kinda badly pasted - the iPod dock thing is completely different in contrast and hue to the background and the female character. The "iPod" text scrawled on to it is really shoddy too. What era is this supposed to be? The nature of the docking station says... I really can't tell... the grungy nature of the paper makes it look like 30-40s but the woman is so under-dressed that she wouldn't have been acceptable for advertising in that time period.

The character is Lord Falmer Leafsummer esquire or some shit. It's probably the show I'm most guilty about having watched and partially enjoyed.
