Bit more progress: [img_thumb]http://img14.imageshack.us/img14/4729/bandwip.jpg[/img_thumb]
Bit flat.
Hey guys, it is me again. Now I am working on something really generic, but at least you (I hope) can understand what is it this time. I am asking you to tell me if lineart has right proportions so I won't color it all to just find out that it was all-wrong from the very start. Thanks.

Is this kind of nebula good anywhere or I should try again?
I don't like how the stars behind the nebula are often just as bright as the ones in open space. Other than that, it's brilliant and you sohuld be happy (the nebula itself looks pretty perfect from my point of view).
I'm not quite finished with it, It's a background, I'm gonna fill the orbit with space hulk and add some fancy lihting effects
Ah, I see. Carry on then, soldier. Definitely no need to start over, I think.
Added star ad made planet planetary and wonky. Any solar science I should be aware of that might affect the light and such? EDIT:fixed version updated with sunnish sun.
Why is it all so blurry?
haven't added anything sharp yet. Gonna do space hulk first then move back to background. But good that you brought my attention to it, gonna figure out what to do with that planet.
Snip, gotta fix this spelling
Very early concept of what will be some kind of 19th century fashioned tough guy.
Gah gotta stop now, eyes are burning. Gonna start doing spaceship concepts tomorrow separately to get better at painting before I start adding them to the final. Also it's a commission I'm doing for Zemog.[so]for free[/sp] Trying to get it ready before the end of next month. Image size are gon be 150x75cm and right now I'm listening to MJ. Id' never tought I could do a meh-tier space thing using brushes, but well, I did!
Mind=Blown.
That's freakin' awesome! Watch it, the image is 1440x900...its a wallpaper.
Shitty scenery with shitty liquid lava with shitty shading and shitty textures. Also he's got no legs, BLAAAAAAAAAM THIS PIECE OF CRAP!
finished for the most part [IMG_THUMB]http://i52.tinypic.com/3503ocl.png[/IMG_THUMB]
The image I posted earlier was at 50%. I save it at 50% as a jpeg for posting online, 100% is just for me to work at. I have a problem now though because, in my tired and ill state (but determined to press on with work to meet pressing deadlines), I scaled the picture down to 50%, saved it as a jpeg, continued to work on it... only to find now that I'm working at 50% of my original size. Why not ctrl+z? Well because Adobe, in all their wisdom, seem to have created an "undo" system where you can only go back so far, and I have travelled further than that point. If I'm wrong on this matter then please tell me, because I certainly hope I am. I think I'm about to smash my keyboard into the desk.

Normal is 20 undo states. But you can set it up to 1000. Edit - Preferences - Performance History states: *Number of undo states you want* It's too late now though, but for future works it's useful.
Think I might just break down here then. 2 weeks work wasted to create less than half a picture. I don't have the fucking time for this. God-damn.

Why the fuck am I talking to you guys? Only thing that I didn't realise was that I can paint the second character on a new canvas and paste him back into the old picture at 50% - I'm only using the 100% image for work purposes, not for display. Took me a moment to talk to someone with absolutely no artistic, Photoshop or technical knowledge to tell me this. I am terrible at thinking outside of the box.

Second semester, get to draw naked dudes. He had a pierced perineum. It gave me the jibblies.

Please fix that. I'm a programmer, so this shit is important to me.
You guys think that the Scott Pilgrim character design is repetitive? It's freaking diverse compared to the Initial D art style. Yes, those are all different characters.
I'm not sure what place may be better suited to ask this, but are there any keyboardists among you who can give some advice on ways to strengthen my left hand? Try as I might, I can't seem to play with both hands. I learn what to play with each hand seperately with little trouble, but as soon as I try to merge the left and right hand parts everything goes to shit.
play the song slower, if you can't do the song at a super slow pace, go even slower and one at a time
Some sort of Intergalactic criminal: An evil Dinosaur Mastermind: I was trying to draw a croc, then this happened: Any tips on drawing max? This is the best I could get to:
