I am saying that you said that anime is short for animation:
"Also small fun fact: Anime means animation in general" you then said "so in Japan they call our stuff anime" but the first part seemed to be a in general and not "in Japan" to me with how I read it. So I said I looked at the definitions online and nowhere did I see it marked as a "general term for animated cartoons." I then said I only saw one reference to anime not being a Japanese animation, which was saying ones that copy the style are these days classed as anime and I said this as a query to your statement as was the only reference I could find to remotely close to what you were saying.

That is all I am saying. Perhaps I just worded my own reply wrong but that is what I thought you were getting at. Guess we both just misunderstood each other /shrug.

To be honest, who cares. This is so darn trivial so it's all I can be bothered saying about it really. :buddy:

I'm going to side with 3v3ryb0dy here. I bought some "how to draw manga" books some time ago and the one book they have for anatomy contains no anime styled drawings aside from the mascot characters.

Oh and you should stop with your furry bullshit for a while and focus on realism. You don't know aparrotly anything about depth, lighting or perspective/proportions/basic anatomy. a few months spent with tutorials and realism and you might have a slight grip on the basics.

Yeah.

But I did in fact mean in general, the definition is only animation in general. We just use it to specify eastern, and more specifically Japanese animation.

You're pretty good and got that cartoonish 3D shading down very well. However it lacks depth, it's like flat 3D. It doesn't look like the dog's nose sticks out at all, it seems to be on the same level as anything else, which, when you look at it, makes the eyes look oddly placed on it, they don't really give of the look of being on the dog, nor resting on the eyelid.

But it's really good and the charm (which is most important after all) shines clearly.

I was just on skype with a friend of mine, and we came up with this rather stupid idea of a car brand named Rage Rover, where you have a big fat red ragequit button on the passengers seat, connected to an ecection seat :D
And when you drive that car you are constantly in rage... so I quickly threw up a logo:
