bitch's bottom parts are missing entierly, there's a very faint underdrawing there. left hand is missing from above wrist down. Now that you menitonit torso too long, legs too short. And I tought "hip" is a part of a victory cry. [editline]05:09PM[/editline] it's a 2" doodle anyway, but I'll keep that info in mind for future reference
Considering how small the image is it's a fantastic doodle. :buddy:
Drew this on my Nintendo DS using Colors! Meh. a 6cm x 4cm screen, and I'm not exactly an artist. Don't really draw much, but i do occasionally.
Here's full battlesuit I cound't get a good angle of it so perspective looks a bit skewn along with shading Considering I dind't use any vanishing ponts nor pointing out light sources it came out pretty well.
looking at the rest of the stuff you guys made, my one looks like 5 second mspaint shit :saddowns:
looking at the rest of the stuff you guys made, my one looks like 5 second mspaint shit :saddowns:
Hey, listen. If it took you a while then it took you a while. The DS isn't exactly a cintiq. :v:
Yeah, for ds drawings we have to be quite forgiving since the best I've seen are quite shite, actually. I'ts really unconmfortable platform.
why would you even draw on a ds that's like writing a novel on an iphone
For fun?
To chase away boredom when waiting for shit? Test your skills? Get the stylo warmed before you showe it up your tear channel?
Well that's why I carry around pencils and paper. Except for the tear ducts part, that's what I use knives for.
But can you play zelda with your pencil and paper?
Messing around in GIMP. I like editing pictures/photos based on games.
I'd rather carry a DS and be able to do fully colored digital drawings anywhere rather than take a pencil and paper and only be able to capture the form of something, to bad I don't have the 150 bucks for that shit. Take a look at the gallery homepage sometime if you think Colors is useless or hard to use. http://colors.collectingsmiles.com/

Love how you can even see a playback of the process.
I've been told. [editline]11:05PM[/editline] Wait can you zoom in or make large ass canvas on colors?
Doubt it. All the canvases seem to be the same size in the gallery.
We need some dolt with an DS! I'll go get fishticks! [editline]11:48PM[/editline] was bored and had a tablet with me. I don't think there's a point in continuing it as I got bored the instance I reached shading. I'm really a pen and paper man.
wat no way thats on a ds
if you have the time to make that shit on the DS why the hell not just use a computer its like sculpting using your own excretions when theres a perfectly good box of clay twenty feet to the left
if you have the time to make that shit on the DS why the hell not just use a computer its like sculpting using your own excretions when theres a perfectly good box of clay twenty feet to the left
I'm pretty sure it's much more fun and challenging. Same reason many people use Paint instead of Photoshop or similar programs.
Not mine, but a friends. Taken with a SLR, shutter speed at 10 seconds. Yeah, the roads near where he lives aren't exactly busy at this time of night.
[img_thumb]http://cubeupload.com/files/fb228dgayzorbeam.png[/img_thumb] I dunno.

I guess seeming as it's your friends no one will probably care if he let you. Though it seems a little blurry. The stripes in the middle of the road should surely be sharp if he used a tripod? Maybe he didn't I guess, but if he did that stood out as odd to me ... Unless he has a very shaky tripod. If he didn't use one he should have, would have made the shot more awesome.
wat no way thats on a ds
No way dude. This program is a gift from the gods. It's responsive, smooth, and in every way just absolutely brilliant. The only down side is the small screen to work with. It's pretty much a DS version of Autodesk sketchbook.
HOLY FUCKING SHIT! That's just not possible. Love how you can even see a playback of the process.
Yeah it's pretty cool. I usually just draw random stuff on the bus and watch it playback. Looks pretty awesome, even if you just scribble random shit and watch it go from start to finish. [editline]07:03AM[/editline]
Doubt it. All the canvases seem to be the same size in the gallery.
Nope, no zoom. Well, on the DS version anyway. There's an iPhone version, not sure if that has zoom. Probably not.
No way dude. This program is a gift from the gods. [editline]07:09AM[/editline] This is just a suggestion, but it may be possible to grab a Nintendo DS emulator, download Colors! and try it that way. Although, (not sure, since I barely use Nintendo DS emulators) I heard homebrew doesn't work very well with emulators.
:sigh: I tried to draw a German soldier from world war 2, but it turned into a miserable failure I know what I'm doing wrong, and it's that I can't get shit into the right shape and perspective... I'm terrible at drawing faces etc., and this just makes me look even worse at it. I find that the left eye is especially bad See, look, that's a lot better, and now he looks like Claus von Stauffenberg, which is another pro I'm one of the least modest people I know and I still think this looks like shit, any chance someone could scribble over it and point me in the direction i should be taking with the shape of the eyes, nose, mouth, head etc., because I would be really grateful. Thanks. [editline]07:35AM[/editline] here are some things I've noticed Damn, I wish I were like some of the other people in here that can get perspective etc. perfect seemingly without trying at all
meh want me to do an overdrawing, cause it's so horribly wrong it'll take me more time to write down what's wrong.
yeah I know it is bad, I am horrible at drawing people and shading and everything else :smith: [editline]08:22AM[/editline] it looked better while I was drawing it. Looking back on it, what the holy fuck was I thinking
What do you guys think
