proceeding with the cane prototype: HURF DURF DERP A HERF DURF stylin'. Will get red and orange paints and some good glossy finish for it when I get bux. [editline]01:25PM[/editline] @above: your colouring is nice but you can't do bodies for shit. Your faces are covered with simple anatomical and proportional mistakes. You should spend more time with pen and paper practising anatomy.

It's just that whip these images so quickly together that I do not take much effort on them.
atleast break stuff down into shapes.

greyfox!
What happened to that dude anyway, haven't seen him about ages.
second try. That was a bit harder. Tried to add not to much blur. Not much satisfied with the result. any suggestions? it looks to unnatural from body to the head. [img_thumb]http://www.abload.de/img/testubgxd.png[/img_thumb]
First of all. Add feather to your selection. There goes a CLEAR, sharp line through the Crysis guy showing where it is heavily blurred and lesser blurred. Second of all, add noise/grain to him and the foreground. Notice how your background has major amounts of noise? Imitate it on him. Third of all, don't blur so much, it just looks weird. Fourth of all, make selections for your blur, and make it precise, we can see the blur bleeding out to the background, and parts of the foreground aren't blurred. Fifth of all, he's way too dark to be in such a light area, notice how there aren't any dark shadows in the background? And how the shadows in the foreground aren't that close to black? Yeah, that means there is a lot of light there, makes no sense that half of his body is black. It especially doesn't make sense that parts of his body that is directly hit by the light is black (notice how the light comes from the upper right side and his left arm and hip are still pure black at places).

Maybe I´ll rework it from scratch.
an unfinished champion of nurgle because we all love them adorable creatures
Looks great. I like the way you made the face. [editline]04:44PM[/editline] Don't think I've posted this one. Made a new handle, that compared to the old. I'll let the oils cure and tomorrow It'll have a brand new cane to sit ontop of and help me beat little children!
What is it?
It's a stylin cool arachnid, btw.
but what's the thing on top?
that's the think you asked about: a cane handle.
It's a stylin cool arachnid, btw.
The anatomy is totally fucked up on your image. And the perspective is all gone! :v: Nah, just kidding, I just want to criticize too :saddowns: But isn't the skull a little small?
Compared to the cane, yes. It's a thick pine. Pine is shitty wood so I had to get a thick piece to compensate for the structural integrerty. New handle will be slightly bigger and I'll get a new stick since I'll beat snap this half soon on the backs of little children anyway.
You got some sketch lines on your face. I suggest cleaning them off before taking a new picture. Too many of them and you'll suddenly look like you belong to a completely different ethnicity, trust me, I know.
that's the think you asked about: a cane handle.
what is it supposed to look like. Looks like a spider head to me.
Its happles. My logo: a mix between teeth, cranium and apple.
Short animation I made to try out mouth movement/ facial expressions. Stuck to South Park style for ease of animating, this is my first time with a character. (I was asked to make a happy cat based character and an animation to advertise a music studio. Oh well :v:)
That was funny and awesome as hell!
I had something like that the other, was looking into the mirror and got freaked out :ohdear:
Well, for starters, the eyes are way too slow. Look at how living things move their eyes and blink. Yeah, next time ill speed up the eye and head movement. btw if anyone knows some good short scenes with creepy dialogue, lemme know so I can use it in the next one.
Final version of Happles MK2 Will be doing an assortment of skulls someday with leftover clay to aquire some skills and them never buy clay again.
Skulls are round not square
Skulls are round not square
Depends on the creature it came from.
Depends on the creature it came from.
Have you ever seen a square skull?
Skulls are round not square
With teeth like that you really think it's supposed to be anatomically correct?
Have you ever seen a square skull?
Have you looked at his skull? It's meant to be for a cane. I also haven't seen a creature with such long and big teeth, a cartoon heart shaped nose and no forehead. Seems to me to be a mysterious and unknown creature that we haven't researched into.
