Trying to get the hang of paint in Photoshop. Mostly a sketch/practice so yea I realize it's quite messy.

Yes, I realize that the rear wheel is a tad small.
So rear wheel is made out of a log and it ejects fur into a fine fur coat?
Shading is sitll mostly composed of grey, some darker tones and atleast some material definition wound't hurt.

The logo needs to be sharper and the background needs more contrast.

vectored and wallpapered

Is that a gradient with just some noise? Looks kinda like paper. My new wallpaper that is.
yeah gradient with noise, i thought it suited the style

Seems like that's the case.

My scanner loves to make my picture about twice as bright, there was a lot more shading originally, but what do you mean by Material definition?
making metal look like metal, plastic like plastic. Shading shit like they're sposed to be.
You scanner might make it twice as bright, it's your task to make it look as much as original with post processing.

Silly penguin. Skyline R32 GT-R is all wheel driven and can't drift like that.
the perspective is amazing though. It's hard to draw cars proportionally right.
Proportions are correct but I disagree with the perspective. Shading is stupid sloppy.
http://filesmelt.com/dl/choicefinished.jpg
what the fuck is that pole thing? You used solar flares or some shit for the sun, looks horrid, don't ever do that again. The shading, if there is any, don't match up with the lighting, human anatomy and proportions are horrible, you need to look up a tutorial on that cause I'm too fat to go on babbling about the basics. You didn't break shit down into shapes, colours are boring and bland, they look ugly, tries too hard to be deep, yet it's obvious. Perspective is right suprisingly, exept for the road bend. You got lucky, I guess. Everything feels overexposed and you added some kind of bloom with filterrape. Composition is annoying, too much free, ugly grass.

Your style and train of tought slightly reminds me of mine, but you draw muscles and biological stuff differently and more correct. I never got the hang of muscle shading. You tend to get cooler ideas, whereas I'm stuck with the old "baww, that pose drawing is boring, i'll tear away some skin and add an extra limb or two, there!"
you got some sketch lines on your face. I suggest cleaning them off before taking a new picture.
Too many of them and you'll suddenly look like you belong to a completely different ethnicity, trust me, i know.
That is the Skyline R32 GTS-t, not the GT-R, thanks for the compliment though.

Yes. You can also show off chaos wihtout making it look shit, buildings are always cube-like, no matter what angle you look like them, not fuckallhedrons you have. Make each building have their own vanishing points then. You better take more realistic approach, since from what I've learned the style you going for now is far too bland and basic for it to work.
I plan on making all the buildings 3D and make geometric sense, for the most part. And what kind of realistic approach do you mean? As in texturing or with the perspective?

My first tablet sketch.
And another one:

So I took some photos of a lightning storm. It was pretty cool. I remembered reading somewhere on how to take pictures of lightning properly, so I thought I'd try it myself on some cheap Canon camera my sister had. They're unedited and definitely not professional quality, but the lightning does look damn cool.

Thumbnailed because It's 2000x2000 pixels, mhmm baby
Just got a tablet so I've been messing around and this is my first piece just creating a whole bunch of characters then gonna add a story behind them for the hell of it.
Some pics I drew, please don't mind the lighting, I had to take pictures of the pictures with my phone, don't have a scanner at hand.

Awesome, how did you do?
Oh, and there is a photography thread just FYI.
Best.Cartoons.Ever.
I did a Johnny Bravo too that turned out really well, but I dunno where it went.

My first real drawing, I didn't put in too much effort, only about 5 minutes.
Any constructive criticism?
Focus a little more on keeping a steady hand when you draw. Also the eyes look a little funny.
Focus a little more on keeping a steady hand when you draw. Also the eyes look a little funny.
Yeah, the eyes gave me a little bit of trouble for some reason, as for the hands, I'll try to work on that. Usually I either tense up too much, or my drawings have squiggles, like in the picture.
Thanks for the feedback, though!
Yup, just try to keep a steady hand mainly, you'll probably improve on the eyes also if you do that. I have the same problem with keeping a steady hand.
