Haha yeah I dug up my old folder containing a whole bunch of images I saved as sources and the only real thing I could think of was your Ironman vec at the time.
Sure thing, it'll be another week before I start the thread so sometime before that I'll pm you the .psd.
So today I painted over my electric guitar, also added picture of the plug-in which we modified with 3v3 and a picture of the amplifier that got a pokeball on it a couple of weeks ago...
And since I had some spare room i added my last sketch and a kinky thing that want's to crawl under your skin.

Let me phrase it like this:

Now then, your drawing is downright terrible, especially considering your spent 3 HOURS on it. There are few anime drawings that are good, and those who are are good because the artist has learned how to draw proper human beings anatomically correct FIRST. The artist knows how the HUMAN body looks, where the parts are placed and how the insides of it works and effects the look of the outside of it. They know how to work with angles and keep things proportionally correct and they know how to colour and shade well, work with colour combinations and tone down colours when it's getting shaded, not just blacken them.
Most people that draw anime knows jack shit about how to draw anything else, and usually fails really hard at drawing anime too. They excuse all their flaws in drawing with ART STYLE, or "It's anime, they aren't supposed to look totally fucking realistic". Art style has never been an excuse for drawing wrongly and it's wrong that anime isn't supposed to look realistic, beyond how the head is everything else is following all the laws of the human body, if we ignore the fact that they like to put balloons into their boobs.
Basically, we hate people drawing anime because people are terrible at it and seldom can handle criticism. There is of course a lot of biased hate, but that's just part of the fun.

It isn't hated for no reason, while I do enjoy watching it, when it comes to art it has a terrible influence on new artists, people go right for anime style without learning how to draw anything properly at all.
As for your picture:
-Torso is too short
-She has no visible kneecaps
-Left arm looks odd
-Shirt doesn't drape properly, it gets magically sucked in.
Once 3v3ryb0dy rolls around he can tell you more.

You suck, and you need to learn it and stop sucking by doing what I indirectly told you to do (which you would have known very well had you read my post), study drawing realistically, not just copying an art style based upon realistic humans without knowing what you're actually drawing.

That's not proper reference, I have a "how to draw manga" book in front of me here and even they do proper anatomy.

We never said that, we are just saying that going for for anime styled drawings is a bad idea because it will hurt you in the long run.

Learn to take criticism, be it rude or not, it's still 100% correct. It would have been much easier for the above two posters to tell you to give up and stop drawing anime, but they actually took the time to give you an explanation and you're blowing it off like you're hot shit and deserve better.
Go follow some tutorials and learn to draw properly along with all of the terms and such before ever attempting a style, especially anime.
The fact that a drawing like that took you three hours alone should be hinting you that something is wrong.

As much as I actually like the rule I think it's incredibly stupid if actually serious, it goes against every reason and idea this thread was made from/of.
