Creative Work That Doesn't Deserve A Thread V5 <Dongery Penis Edition> - General

You guys seem to be taking the crit a bit harsh on JaspertheDoxie, I mean crit is necessary but you can't become a good artist overnight or as a result of reading a half page post about everything you did wrong. This forum is filled with everyone from 11 year olds to guys in their mid to late 20's, so the skill level is going to be all across the board. People who get good at drawing get it through pure practice and so everyone has to start somewhere. It was obvious that he knew where he is skill wise and has an appreciation for good artists so I think he's on the right path (besides the Anime bit in my opinion, but drawing anything is better than nothing.) Rated artistic because you know what, he's doing more than me right now and at least he's working at something rather than sitting on his ass, no matter his skill level. (For some reason it isn't registering my rating, odd)

Drawing isn't the only means of showing off your artistic ability.

This guy posts a shitty anime drawing that he spent 3 hours on and rambles on about how we all are going to hate it just because it is anime. He's simply just showing of a crude drawing and say some nice stuff (first part of his post) to everyone else in hope to be treated kindly back, when I say how bad it is and tell him how he should improve whilst also attacking his "hate because anime" part of the post he goes defensive and when Moreto points out the flaws to make him understand what is wrong he defends some of it with what he based it of, trying to avoid any reason for it to be simply him drawing badly. Had he read what we said rather than reacted on it being a wall of text and just focusing on the negative words rather than what the negative words actually told him then he would very well have known that we told him exactly what he should do in order to draw well, both realistically styled and manga styled. Needs to be rated the same rating more than once to show up.

[img]http://img39.imageshack.us/img39/6392/1065.png[/img][img]http://img299.imageshack.us/img299/205/1066n.png[/img] Reworked the terminology so equip cards are now called 'rating' cards, the words ban, permaban and unban meaning discard to the refuge camp, DDT'd zone and, well, resurrecting. Gotten through and removed the TF2-themed cards from the Orion deck to fit in some re-balanced cards by other Facepunchers, edited and refined everything that would need to be and so-forth. Also, I've made the cards in the 2.5x3.5 format so if people so desire they could go online to somewhere like [url=http://www.artscow.com/photo-gifts/Card/Multi-purpose-Cards-Rectangle-394]Artscow[/url] and get them printed off in style. All that's left on my end is to up the resolution of the cards to the best printable level and anyone could enjoy.
