that's like the part where I go soft on the reader.
Starting a USB necklace.
Gonna paint the port, and get a chain (maybe a computer wire) as the neck-string thingy.
A quick doodle I did while me friends were watching vampires suck(more like this movie sucks, amirite, guyse :v:).

Despite my foot fetish I haven't focused much on feet study.

Very well done.

Her foot?

From her lower back to her thigh, it's spot on and really nicely shaped, her hands are also well drawn.
I also like the way you've defined certain muscle shapes and where bones affect the shape (i.e. her shoulderblades).
It's a bit out of proportion, the head's large and so are the legs compared to her torso and with foreshortening they'd be more than double her torso length.
It's also overshaded: the light-source isn't clear, you have what I see as the highlight on her butt but not on the same area her left shoulder or hair.
You also concentrated alot of shading in her middle making her look like her back's flatly curving inwards without a highlight being shown on her side, her shoulders also seem very low and slopey and her right foot looks stuck on.
That was useful, thanks!

Guess I could blame the head sizse on fluffy hair, but I made the hairline so that it's impossible.
Starting to mess a little with some of the alpha channel functions when making rendered lighting effects. Absolutely killer for making things look realish.

MOTHER OF GOD!
i cant even make it that pretty in 3D myself :C

The perspective on the box is a bit off

Yeah I just eyeballed the perspective on this one. It seems to be dipping down a bit at the side facing the wall, right?
Oh well, I keep everything structured in layers so it's pretty easy to fix something like that without blowing up the entire image.

How long is the render time on that?

It's a mattepainting, not 3D, so... none? v:v:v
Took probably 30-45 minutes in Photoshop to make while experimenting with ideas.

Could you explain how that works? I've never seen something like that.

Wait what? That's all "drawn"? You found some textures, distorted them and lightened them correctly and voilà?
:golfclap:
I say no more.
:downsrim:
it was not a pun.

Wait wait, that's NOT 3D?
And here I've been thinking that it's been 3D since you first posted it.
for some reason I thought it was 2d... but I wasn't sure... :hurr:
he said 3 posts down, that it wasnt 3d

No, making from scratch in 3D means to make the models, apply textures to them and all that.
He also specified that there were a lot of Photoshop things going in there. What I think of then is that he rendered it, put it into Photoshop and did magical things with it in Photoshop.
When he said he painted for hand and mentioned textures afterwards I thought he painted some of the textures himself and found some others.

Here's how it all went down: I painted the room first, as barebones as it gets. (I can't post samples from my phone at work, sorry) I just eyeballed the shading, lighting and AO. Once I had a big grey correctly shaded room I grabbed some textures and streched and fitted them over areas that I wanted them.
With the textures I made a copy of the blue alpha channel, and used that as a base texture map for the render lighting filter. This created the fake bumpmaps. Then I had to mask and align everything on top of the original texture. Then, Pin light layer blending and masking areas to create reflections.
Also any grammar errors I blame on the phone.

Yeah yeah, I'm not saying you didn't do it by hand, as you can see from my golfclap post above, I was just saying you didn't make it all that clear that it wasn't 3D from the start when Lazore said you did.
I think it's amazingly well done, even though the quality level itself is that of a plain 3D render test. But if you can take that technique into more complex sceneries, then ohohoho, you can make some crazy shit.

Oh I see, gotcha. Thanks for golfclap :v:
The goal was a simple scene to see how well I could implement it. Apparently since people thought it was 3D, it works well. I'm going to apply it to some big stuff for sure.
I'm doing a little revolver repaint, to go with my Mafia outfit for the next pop culture expo here.
Just finished the second undercoat.

All I have to say is define the muscles more in the arms and shoulders.
