i recognized that it was a vagina but i didn't know it was a 'thing'
It's a random bonus... also you are either trolling or you don't recognise Vagineer
I think you need to learn what the word trolling means.

You really need to learn what the hell trolling means.
Because you have absolutely no idea what it means to troll.

no reference, no guidelines, no eraser just so you know, and it started from the ball on the left
since MS Paint is dead right now and it IS still photoshop, figure I'll dump it here. Been in a heavy 8-bit mood these past few days.

Doing it as a semi-commission for Rety and Wewt!. Still streaming live right now because I'm bored and not using up any bandwidth otherwise.

I can't see a thing
Welcome, my friend.
We need more traditional artists like yourself. Right now I think it's just me and 3v3ryb0dy.
I do loads of traditional work but cba to post it. I'll do a dump thread once I get around it.
I made this :byodood:

thought I'd post a couple of large-scale portraits I did a few months ago :3

not fantastic photos, but on the 16th I'll get them back from the art department and post better ones.
Amazingly I got 93% in art :smug:
I wish my uni had an art department :crying:
How dare you steal my favorite font....
Birth of a Hero is pretty popular, that's why it shows up first in dafonts v:v:v
Koolwhip used it like a year ago too, I felt super-ninja'd when I found his big fancy thread using it.
also still need criticismses

Wow those look really good! Was that for Alevel? I think I like the one on teh right best, there's a bit of a warp and a sharpness in both colour and shape in the left one.
And power fuse, welcome. Those are quite OK, but overly boring. Can't give any judgment until I see reference photos.
[editline]09:04PM[/editline]
and dai, no crit for you.

Thanks
And yeah it's A2 coursework
I prefer the right one, too. I was trying to be a bit more inventive on the left one, so it looks a bit more interesting up close but overall it didn't come out as nicely (the background is cringe-worthy, so I pretend it was supposed to be like that).
If I've learnt anything from that coursework, it's that working on a big scale is fucking awesome. Nothing beats the feeling of completing a piece of work 200x100cm.
[editline]07:27PM[/editline]
also out of boredom I did a couple of crappy photoshop scraps.

Whats causing those blue lines in the thumbnail?
an effect called "Moire", where lines too small to render with their alotted resolution only show in specific places, or similarly they take up too much of the space and intermingle with other stuff.
looks really cool when people wear pinstriped clothing on TV.

It looks even cooler in real life when you bob your head around.
Had these girder/fences in school, and when we looked at them out from the cantina through the glasses which were skewed because of the buildings shape (because the building is designed by artsy fartsy people that praise design and hate things that are practical to use) it gave that effect, and it would obviously move around as you moved around. Made you a bit dizzy in the long run.

moire in real life is cool when you have two identical grates/fences and the resulting pattern is MASSIVE versions of the cutouts.

Anyone familiar with Adobe Premiere? I have a still image sequence MUCH larger than my video frame (time lapse from an SLR). I wish to slowly pan across it instead of leaving it still over the entire time. How do I keyframe movements of a clip in the frame?
I understand resizing and positioning just need to tell it to do that over time.

on that note, here's my FIRST timelapse. http://www.flickr.com/photos/rocphotography/4949660750/
[img_thumb]http://img176.imageshack.us/img176/8914/cketchcopy.png[/img_thumb]
That's what I need some help with, the perspective of it. It doesn't feel right. That one is not as clean as the other one I did, but I didn't scan it it because it was too cluttered with planning.
yay, funnycat helped with the video thing. I'll post a link when it finally finishes uploading.
After Effects helps make gifs out of videos :v:
but an 8-second video i just did had over 200 frames at 8 fps.
I just want it to have more pizazz, you know what I mean? But I can't think of much else. I think there's too much blank (Metal part) space and the font doesnt really pop.

The font needs to be bolder. It may also help to give it a sense of depth with perspective.
I think you should've used a can similar to the actual Bonk.
[editline]04:31PM[/editline]
The texture applied to a smaller can doesn't look that good IMO

Yes, use a Red Bull can if you're going to go off a real can. It's much more similar in shape:
