He doesn't like people anyways so he's okay with that.
And I also side with him. I think it's better to be harsh, straightforward and honest than walking around, twisting words in order to not hurt someones ego. I find it jolly stupid. When you say something nice you got to mean it.

Anyhow, you guys need to get over it as long as the critic explains how to make it better he's not being a bitch, and it you can't take the advice you need to man up. If someone says it sucks and it clearly possibly does suck a bit and is not a masterpiece then he's simply making an observation.
Guide to Creationism corner:
- Post art
- Some people say they like it
- Some don't
- Most will try and give advice
- Artist says thanks and tries to improve
- 3v3rybody says it's shit
- Artist either Rants or gets over it.
- Depending on outcome artist gains respect from community.

Same here. Hearing that your work is good is of course awesome but hearing ways to improve it is way more preferable.

'daww, thanks, I feel fuzzy inside.

I hardly ever believe it when people say my work is good, I just think they're lying. Especially if they don't point out the obvious flaws I see myself. Especially since I know I suck balls and there is always room for way too much improvement in anything I make.
your avatar stuff is awesome.
Even that one where you gradually turn into a negro.
Ooh, that one you have for your avatar

You said you wouldn't talk about it again. You promised! *Runs away crying*

Put this in the hand thread, might get a little C&C here though :frown:
Did it a while back
Looks quite nice overall, but is it just me or does the middle of the thumb look like a sphincter?

Perspective looks a bit off for some reason.
rotate the skull around a little to the left, the jaw lines don't match up.
Good effort overall
New painting.

It's really hard to paint a bloom effect with acrylic.

Bonus to anyone who finds the one line that's out of perspective.

Lower left, hole. Right side of the hole, line goes inwards to the left rather than outwards to the right.
Well, actually I've found some 3-4 lines that are wrong.

I get confused as to which dot I'm supposed to draw towards

Unless you're a mutant with absent thumb muscles and thumb bones starting before the wrist joint, and ineffecient proportions you have failed.
you don't even know how to break them down into basic shapes and your shading technique is best described with word "gray".
look up basic tutorials in www.drawspace.com to get started on the beginner tutorials.
there's no point giving any detailed CC cause that would take the form of a novel. It sucks like a hooker in debt and if you focus on the tutorials and work hard, within a week or two you'll see it too.
After you've practised hard for some time come back and post something newer, so we can see if we can give some more useful info.
pling you were right about the contrast

i seriously need to stop working on these
I agree
but i will be printing them out and that's why i'm working on them until i'm 100% satisfied
the design process can be a long process
I did a cover of a song from Cave Story using just my voice. It came out better than I expected. I don't really work with music or anything so don't expect a masterpiece. I just really like the game.

Here's the actual song if you want to compare.

Also, you should play the game if you haven't yet! It's awesome! And free!

Bad reading. I did it when i was 12/13... I'm now 16 with a hell of a lot of knowledge of how to draw and the anatomy of body parts.
But thanks for the criticism, even if you are 3 years late.
And i'll post a picture of a newer, more up-to-date picture if i can ever be arsed to draw one
You fucking said "did it a while back"
I'm raging so hard, you goddamn minor.
Normally that means "Time has passed".
I'm sorry i didn't specify how much time....
