This comes out when I'm bored/tired: [img_thumb]http://fc01.deviantart.net/fs71/f/2010/271/9/5/pixel_rape_by_torekk-d2znbkt.png[/img_thumb] Pixel rape(title of the deviation) says all. Edit: Would be pretty neat if I can redo this by hand, would look a lot better. But not now, way too tired.
Attempted a sketch of John Marston. I ain't great at drawing, proporations are most likey wrong (plus the utter fail of beard hair on his neck. Not shaded for fear of ruining it. Feedback would be appreciated. Tried to draw it from this screenshot http://www.wildwestland.co.uk/blog/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/read-dead-redemption-screenshot.jpg
Around 3 hours of work done on the full-sized image. Here's the crane on first building from the left. It's not a finished sketch as lot needs cleaning up and sharpening before I can continue onto next part. [IMg_thumb]http://fc03.deviantart.net/fs71/i/2010/271/3/b/kernel_mass_wip1_by_infernomonster-d2znar6.jpg[/IMG_thumb]Won't be contributing much else while working on this. Tough I have the pirate lumberjack thingy done
Dude, that looks pretty god damn awesome! did i miss what it was for?
Sad young man in an ill-fitting suit: I thought this looked awesome when I drew it but now I hate it. That'll teach me to draw at midnight in a bad mood in poor lighting conditions.
Dude, that looks pretty god damn awesome! did i miss what it was for?

I'm gonna do a big, big watercolour on A1. Question is which of the sketches I should choose from? It won't be an exact remake, just general guidelines. Choises are: that is that sketch combined with this or [IMg] [editline]01:15PM[/editline] Just discovered I don't have a picture of the other one. But I'll try to get it.
I did that post ages back. HEh, seemed like I only did it 2 pages ago.
Why do you have to stick a walrus in every one of your creations?
Oh that time it wasn't me, it was me friend, whos in charge of finding a frame for that project. I won't put it on the big piece cause it'll draw needless attention to it. I'll use an angel isntead. [editline]08:07PM[/editline] besides each good citiscape needs animals.
Besides each good citiscape needs animals.
And no animal says city better than walrus.
NIET! BEARS BEST ANIMAL! BEAR IS ONLY SYMBOLISE STRENGTH AND POWER OF MOTHERLAND! :ussr:
That is very clearly a baby seal hiding in a shallow puddle of water. The validity of WHAT it is should not overshadow what physics it is breaking :v:
What physics, exacly? Okay finished second floor and I'll do the shop floor tomorrow and provide some photographical evidence. possibly in a WIP thread, no?
Could someone make a comment on my sketch (*cough* Everybody please rip it apart with your special brand of criticism in the interest of bettering myself as an 'artist' *cough*).
Okay chesty. the back curve feels overdone, he looks too fat, shoes seem way too thin, head looks like half of it is missing, face is too big, I guess. The lighitng is bit confusing looking at the shadows cast by hand and such, overall it feels overdone "imma sad lol" stuff. But you used many values and that kind of makes it look good. I don't really know what's wrong with anatomy and proportions, I'd have to do an overdrawing, but right now I basically live in the kitchen so I won't be fucking about with my tablet. I'm sure it was prolly just a random try with no goal to achive whatsoever, besides to get this feeling out of you so you can sleep. check out posemaniacs.com if you're intrested. It has a great 30sec. pose gadget.
Thanks a lot man - that's exactly what I needed. Cheers!
I've tried to sketch after a guide again, but this time I tried to focus on proportions on a smaller scale. Leelas head was the result. Took approximately 50 minutes.
50 minutes for that? I mean.. it's pretty accurate and looks okay but... seriously, 50 minutes?
What the post above me said. I can draw and half render a helicopter + troopers in that time. It looks good though but still, that seems a long time for what you have there.
Would it be ok for me to post some creative writing in here or does it not belong? I've only seen drawings in here so far.
I don't think it's limited to drawings
In my English class we were reading Native American origin myths and we had to write our own. This is mine. I wanted to finish it today but I ran out of time. I'll just leave you with what I have so far and get some feedback on it. It's almost done now though. The beginning is a bit meh and I plan on going through the whole thing tomorrow to rewrite some sections. Because it's not done I'll just give you a link.

And it's a weapon from the Kingdom Hearts game, not a key. :)
don't use NURBS for weapon, you will regret it :p! and your mesh looks badly organized. You should make the density the same throughout a model.

Flash animation/interactive version of my Droid I made in class. I'm still getting a hang of Actionscript and the laws of flash in general but I think this came out fairly good. There's probably ten thousand things wrong with it, but I'm learning a lot as I go. It's really a lot more fun than I expected. It goes up to the lock screen, nothing past that. Open it by clicking on the screen, close it at any time by clicking the top of the screen. Power is the gold button and the green button resets the lock screen. http://filesmelt.com/dl/moto_droid_fp.swf Also, the time is dynamic but not the date, oops :downs: Screenshot:
