I need critiques like this because the reference picture I worked with was probably quite a poor choice - overly high contrast, black and white, wannabe artistic photograph. How do you think I could get some sort of charm into this piece? That's what it really needs. It feels so sterile right now. Probably comes with using a god-damn mouse (yeah... painting hair and fur with a mouse hurt).

And yeah, What the previous person said, her coat is just too black. Her hair seems a little dull, but maybe that's just me. One of her eyes is placed higher than the other- regardless of the angle and they seem a little small in proportion to her face. There's also a larger space than what you have between her eyes and her eyebrows (her eyebrows are too low). Her neck is a little too thick and her jaw line seems to just disappear without any incline towards her ear. Her silhouetted thumb seems a little too round as well. But I like the over all feeling of the work- the elegant sophistication. Good work (:

Added a few simple folds and made the philtrum less excessively sized and shaded. Also added much strong shadows to the hair, as is characteristic of well washed, glossy hair... although I think I need to add more highlights too. Keep those critiques coming! You have been invaluable thus far.

The skin looks airbrushed, the gap between her nostrils is far too large, and her face seems like it could use more definition. Other than that, it looks really great.
