What the... how old are you?
16 I'm more worried at how much it's going to cost also considering you cannot subtract 2 from 18 I'd question your age too.
16 I'm more worried at how much it's going to cost
Unbelievable. When I read your posts, you sound like you're more like... well, older than me anyway. I'm 17, 18 in 2 months. :v:
I'm gonna be, probably :buddy:
Wheeey! What you studying? And what halls do you want?
Wheeey! What you studying? And what halls do you want?
Physics! And... I have no idea! <:D We talked about this on facebook at one point, I still have no idea about halls. Will put serious thought into it when I accept my offer (still have one or two possible interviews left).
Unbelievable. When I read your posts, you sound like you're more like... well, older than me anyway. I'm 17, 18 in 2 months. :v:
... thanks?
16 I'm more worried at how much it's going to cost also considering you cannot subtract 2 from 18 I'd question your age too.
:| if you took "two years" away from my age, I'd be 15 wouldn't I
Computer Science
Unconditional for Robert Gordons

Interview for Strathclyde

Pending from Glasgow

Rejection from Edinburgh

Heard nothing from Heriot Watt.

:| if you took "two years" away from my age, I'd be 15 wouldn't I
Well technically I'm 16 in 1 week but I rounded up for the sake of convenience.
Well technically I'm 16 in 1 week but I rounded up for the sake of convenience. [img_thumb]http://avatars.fpcontent.net/image.php?u=206820&dateline=1292684113[/img_thumb]
So you're not 16, then. Just like I'm not 18. We are in agreement.
As a guy that got into what turned out to be the course of my dreams with only 2 A-Levels, my biggest piece of advice would be to sell yourself so hard in the app and interview that they don't even need to look at your expected grades Brunel Uni's fun
Got conditionals from Strathclyde and Glasgow, both Computer Science [editline]9th February 2011[/editline]

Interview for Strathclyde

Its not really an "interview". It just a casual chat with one of the lecturers while he tells you about the offer there going to give you and answer any questions.
I didn't apply to uni, left school at the start of 6th year to go to Cumbernauld College (yaaaay....) (was only doing 3 advanced highers, was terrible) to do an NC Music + Sound Production and I'm starting HNC after summer...
Its not really an "interview". It just a casual chat with one of the lecturers while he tells you about the offer there going to give you and answer any questions.
Ah right. I didn't read the letter very closely when I got it.
Undergraduate. Couple friends already go there. Funny story, I went a few months back for the interview: one of the other applicants actually recognised me as Hexxeh. Small world, eh?
I met a fellow Facepuncher at an interview today too Though I've forgotten his obscure username
Anyone reccomend a good engineering university? Hoping to do chemical engineering.
Anyone reccomend a good engineering university? Hoping to do chemical engineering.
Not so sure about chemical engineering, but Brunel's Mech/Moto/Elec/Aero/Aviation Engineering courses are pretty good from what I hear
I got offers from all mine accept for Stafford that is the one I want to go to, they just seem to be taking their time
I'm surprised at the number of CompSci applicants from fp, would have expected less I'm applying next year and I'm thinking of doing comp sci or maths, can't decide [editline]9th February 2011[/editline] good luck to everyone this year
Lol at all the people here applying for Comp. Sci. with the aim of creating video games. I bet 60-70% of you will be done in the 2 first years (implying you are not aware of how much math it is in Comp. Sci.). Oh well, studying medicine here...
I don’t know about you lot but I quite enjoy going to interviews. All you’re doing is going somewhere to talk to someone else about a mutual interest, couldn’t think of anything better to do, but of course sometimes it’s not as simple as that.

Plus, most courses ease you into it.

counting is hard
Got offers for Accountancy with Finance at three different Uni's, thank fuck I miss the fee raise.
counting is hard
Exactly what accountancy is really, complex counting.
Right, I've applied to a college away from home to do a science access course hopefully leading to a Chemistry degree. Can I apply for student finance, otherwise i'm fucked.
Come to Glasgow uni its boss
I'm currently studying Ai and Robotics at De Montfort in Leicester and its awesome, the computing facilities here just had millions spent on them there are literally 10+ rooms all with top spec quad core rigs and even some mac labs for programming. Seriously anyone interested in a Computing course in the UK should check out this place (also fairly low offers like 200 - 260 points).
I've applied for Ravensbourne University in London. Nobody has heard anything from them yet.
