You should do as I do with maths: Since I won't have mathematics in school for another couple of years, I'm borrowing a book from my school and I teach myself math at home.
enough threadshitting 1) Physics for Scientists and Engineers (5th, 6th,7th or 8th edition) by Serway and Jewett 2) Chemistry (4th or 5th e) by McMurry and Fay 4) Calculus Early Transcendentals (5th or 6th e) by Stewart
There is a book called Guns, Germs, and Steel, that gives an interesting view on prehistory, if you want to google it.
You don't know what prehistory is do you? OP, I recommend Europe A History by Norman Davies for History. It's limited to Europe but it is very very thorough and takes you through European history starting with Ancient Greece all the way through Thatcher. Prof. Davies' stlye is quite fun to read to and it never gets dry and boring as some other books do. It also has quite a lot of bits of information about different subjects that are seperated from the main course of the book. Overall it is a very entertaining and informative book, but very thick (over 1100 pages) and has very small font so be prepared to read for quite some time. For Calculus etc... I recommend any school/course book or get yourself a Calculus AP AB/BC book. It might be a bit difficult at first but keep at it and you will at least understand some of the concepts. Also the internet is your friend. You can check out Q.E.D, 6 Simple Pieces and 6 Not So Simple Pieces by Feynmann for some information on parts of the quantum theory. If you are rich/dedicated enough you can also get the Feynmann lectures. Apart from all this MIT OpenCourseware is again your friend and has a lot of very good material. I hope all this helps and good luck with everything.
