[editline]8th April 2011[/editline]
why so serious lol
Whats up guys, Kenworth guy here, I have an 84. I don't drive for a company, I just haul my log trailer and some equipment that's just a bit big for the ol Cummins.
Damn Lertez, any pictures of that Kenworth? There's two trucks I'm jealous of that you've got
I wanted to be a truck driver as a kid, anyone else had that dream? :buddy:
Still do dude. If only they made a bit more money.

I've got two more years, then I will be one of them ;)
[QUOTE=Pringles.;29082321]I wanted to be a truck driver as a kid, anyone else had that dream? :buddy:[/QUOTE]
I had, and now I'm living that dream.
My uncle I mentioned earlier has some cavities and is overweight from being a trucker. It may not help that his company gives him really strict deadlines and most are cross country.
Hemorrhoids. Don't forget Hemorrhoids.
IE dont become a long haul trucker
My uncle's actually a trucker, he transports cargo to Russia and Germany and I rode with him once. Russian border guards are fucking scary sometimes.
My dad was a trucker for 20 years and then he got in an accident so now he's home all the time and run a small local store

Very nice.
[editline]12th April 2011[/editline]
I always love the sound of when its the middle of night when your traveling, and your at a rest stop. And all you can hear are trucks going by on the freeway, and idling at the truck stop.
Have my babies. Sike, but seriously that's awesome man.

That isn't his truck?
In before, "I just wanted to show what my truck looked like, this is my actual truck."

[editline]12th April 2011[/editline]

Uh, actually I know a lot of people who own semis and they park them right beside their house, on the road.
And a 96' Cummins Dualie isn't on par with what I would consider a 'bad-ass' truck. Which may very well not even be his. (If that is the vehicle you were referring to) I was actually considering buying one and was offered it for 4,000 and it had 98k miles on it, by a friend of mine. (It was in almost perfect condition because he took care of it) I alo don't find a semi-truck of any relevance to a Dualie Pick-Up truck.
But that is purely opinion based..

I know a guy down our street does this as well. They even built an extended height garage so he can park his rig right there.
Doesn't necessarily mean Lertez does though.

Well, just as was said, it is a semi.
Where the hell would you put it other than in your Driveway? You would have to find a garage that allows those to be parked in it, let alone can fit it inside if it, then you would have to pay quite a bit.
well he said he used it to haul logs, so maybe its at a depot or some shit? im not a trucker so i dont know
or he could just have it up for sale :downs:

Yeah, you’re right it’s just the closest things I could find to mine. The only difference is that mine is blue, and doesn't have that gay shit on the door. But no, I get bitched at enough for driving my Cummins up and down the road all day, especially when I have to park on the street when I have my trailer. I park my Kenworth in town at Jims service center, the guy lets me keep it there since I used to work for him. But I don't even use it that much, just to haul logs and move the Tracko.

Those trucks are super expensive.
arent those alcoa wheels like $10,000 by themselves or something?
[QUOTE=lemon_lover;29257211]arent those alcoa wheels like $10,000 by themselves or something?[/QUOTE]
Something like that, a frontrim from Alcoa for a swedish truck with tires that are 385mm wide cost about €400-500, the rear rims are even more expensive.
My dad delivers steel for these guys:

The best part of it is that he comes back to his house every night, any single delivery usually doesn't take more than 8 hours.
