Indeed bounces are common, but it depends on who you're playing against since bounces are more likely to happen if you play with a good guy with the right gear because baggy paintball suit = more bounces = winning
That's an interesting difference between paintball and airsoft. In airsoft the goal is to hit the guy. In paintball just because you hit them doesn't mean for shit, it actually has to splatter.

It's really scary when people don't follow a very strict safety code.
When a paintball canister blow up you usually die because of the sharpnel of the tank.
