I didn't really like Day of The Dead that much. The death of Rhodes is undeniably awesome, and was one of the few redeeming factors.

I can see where someone would dislike it, but overall it's a good movie. Rhode's death is the crowning moment of awesome. One odd thing I don't get about the movie though is that with pistols, they aim down the sights and fire them with a generally high degree of accuracy. When they get some M16A1s though, they just hipfire and waste an entire magazine on one or two zombies. Not to sound like i'm realism nitpicking, but that's just inconsistent.
Pretty much every "...of the Dead" movie is a classic, good or bad. I've seen a shitton of zombie movies. Most of the ones no one has heard of, and for a good reason. If you haven't heard anything about it at all, it's probably shitty. Like Severed.

I loved how they just ripped him apart. He fucking deserved it.
This made the entire movie for me :v:
That's Richard Cheese and Lounge Against the Machine http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Richard_Cheese
Shaun of the Dead was Hilarious
Zombieland was awesome. He shot the Twinkie :3
Glad to see people around the world adding "Dead Snow" to their list, it's my country's pride. [IMG]http://www.facepunch.com/fp/rating/heart.png[/IMG]
Original Dawn of the Dead [sp]28 Days Later has no zombies in it[/sp]
Zombies movies are epik, I always liked them, always! I had a teacher in the movie "The dead next door" and my favorite is Dawn of the Dead and 28 weeks later. Zombies are awesome. oh, and I liked Night of the comic, it was just so damn 80s like!
Shaun of the Dead. None of those "fast zombie" movies.
Planet Terror is one of my favorite movies of all time. I'd pay to go back and time and see it in theaters, I've only seen it on DVD.
I've found most serious zombie films completely shit and retarded, those I've had most enjoyment of has most of the time been the comedy ones (Zombieland/Shaun of the Dead). I mean, some of them are just plain dumb.
Just saw Survival Of The Dead. Romero just seems to be having fun now, the zombies were just walking punchlines that could teleport around when not on screen.
When I saw Sotd it was a bunch of kids doing their homework or something, the blood was red gas and oh my god
Planet Terror is one of my favorite movies of all time. The audience was laughing non-stop through Planet Terror. You missed out man :(
The original Day of the Dead would have been pretty bad but Captain Rhodes saved it and more. Just look at this badass. And he had the worst death I've ever seen in a movie. At like 1:50 or so.
I've seen almost every zombie movie ever made. -Night Of The Living Dead -Day of the Dead -Day of the Dead (2008) (People say its a remake of the original, I think its a shitty zombie movie with the same name, cause it has nothing to do with the original) -Dawn of the Dead -Dawn of the Dead (2005) -Shaun of the Dead -Brain Dead -28 Days/Weeks later -Dead Snow -Tokyo Zombie -Bio-Zombie (Great Hong Kong zombie film, I should remake the thread) -Return of the living dead (God that movie was fucking terrible) -Zombie Land -REC -REC 2 -Quarantine (Original always better) -"Evil Dead 1/3" are considered zombie movies, right? At least some people said that, they was some of the best movies I've seen. -God Awful Resident Evil movie series. -Resident Evil Degeneration - That was fucking great. -Zombie Strippers - A mistake I will never do again. -Slither -Reanimator I know I watched 2x more but I can't think of anymore. I love zombie movies so much.
Not a zombie movie. Not a zombie movie. Not a zombie movie. Resident Evil Degeneration blew balls out of the barrel of a shotgun so hard i actually felt a heart palpatation after watching it (litterally) Not a zombie movie.

I always liked the idea that slow zombies represent cold war paranoia and fast zombies represent terrorism.
I actually hated Rhodes as a character, he just seemed too over the top for me, and I didn't really believe him as a character. Funny, since Over The Top pretty much explains the original Dawn of the Dead. Dawn of the Dead also has the best zombie ever. Oh zombie movies... They are so damn predictable, but just as enjoyable.
I just saw the movie Dead Air. It was a terrible movie. I thought a majority of the film would take place on a plane but it didn't...
You guys do Know that Dead and Living, are different series and are sometimes not considered canon on the same universe
Evil Dead was one of my favorites. So cheesy, but so badass and confusing at the same time. They are fun to watch.
Shaun of the Dead has the best zombie killing scene ever. "STOP THE SONG!"
I couldn't watch Land of the Dead, it didn't feel like a zombie movie.
I couldn't watch Land of the Dead, it didn't feel like a zombie movie.
Land of the Dead lost me when the zombies started ganging up and shooting people with guns. But goddamn, the Dead Reckoning is the coolest vehicle I have ever seen.

Survival of the Dead took place the same time as Diary of the Dead. Diary of the Dead is about the kids making a documentary and Survival of the Dead is about the National Guard trying to survive. In dotd they find the national guard, but they get robbed by them. In sotd, its shows the story of the same soldiers that robbed the kids.
