Drinking like in 1789
Enjoy going blind.
3 guys in my class are making wine and one of them is making moonshine too. They made some Kiwi-wine, and that was actually pretty tasty
My grandad used to make Poitín (Potcheen). He's blind now!
Apples in bucket, smash dem apples with a 4x2, put in a wine press, press, put in a sealed bucket, leave for a week, bottle, CIDER!
Unless you don't know how to make a good starter, distilling it without getting methanol is pretty easy, just throw away everything that is distilled before the temprature reaches 78.1 C as a safety precaution.
goddamn brother on my account snip
Skittles imbued Vodka, taste the draino!
Going down on my list of "Need to try's"
godamned brother snip
:wtc:
My uncle brews his wine. And he uses his own grapes
Are the grapes testicles and the wine semen?
:wtc:
Should of never used his ipod on Facepunch, little shit posting vulgar things.
My grandad used to make Poitín (Potcheen). He's blind now!
The stuff is taste altogether, we have a few litres lying around in empty whiskey bottles you could use it as antifreeze in winter guaranteed to knock you off your arse.
Yeah drinking things that you can also use as antifreeze is a good idea.
The stuff is taste altogether, we have a few litres lying around in empty whiskey bottles you could use it as antifreeze in winter guaranteed to knock you off your arse.
I've never tried the stuff myself.. not really sure if I want to either!
Yeah drinking things that you can also use as antifreeze is a good idea.
They used to use them as Molotovs too. But have a taste, just a shot glass worth. You wont be any worse for it. Now if you grab the bottle and try to down it thats harmless too, because it will come up just as fast as you drink it down.
I make Rakia every year. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rakia
They used to use them as Molotovs too.
From the stories my granddad told me. He used to make the stuff when they where 19-20, as they where too poor to go to the pub. Several times they either blew up the shed or set it on fire (not sure how, he never said) but anyway, he used to sell the stuff to members of the IRA. Or so he said.
What's going on here? Isn't this the 12 year old who's dad is Michael Cudlitz? What are you doing making this shit?
Im also brewing my own cider but only on a fairly small scale (3 Gallon Batches), I would highly recommend using a wine yeast as this produces a greater alcohol yield, please note this does make the finished product a lot less sweet :) happy brewing !
I used to buy vodka a mate of mine used to make. During college. Was awesome.
I brewed beer for a project in school were you had to come up with your own idea what to make. I got a B grade and of course the teacher had to taste some. It was quite tasty and had 5% abv.
I'm brewing my second lot of beer at the moment. 6 gallons of a dark stout. My first was a bitter but it got infected after a couple of weeks and had to be thrown away. The stout has been fermenting for about 2.5 months now, last time I checked (3 weeks ago) it was up to 11% alcohol. It's gonna kill me. :black101:
Take this to the Cooking sub-forum please...
I also made my own cider in Biology. Got the best marks.
My mother brews her own liqueur from the strawberries in her garden. Tastes absolutely like there's no alcohol in it, yet it's ABV is around the 25% mark. It's downright dangerous because of that.
Hell, we need a home brewing sub-forum
Do it like us Irish do and make alcohol from potatoes!
We make schnapps. You can make that shit out of anything O.o
I have been making homemade vodka for a while (2-3 years) this is my machine http://www.ladda-upp.com/bilder-a/tha_satan_monster_evil_doom-109.JPG
