No hosting can handle this much traffic at normal speeds.
My PTZ still haven't been deducted, and the "My Locker" section still doesn't have my prize redemption mentioned there.
I already sent a copy of my redemption e-mail to [email]help@lockerz.com[/email] with a polite note thanking them for running such an excellent site and asking them to confirm that I would get the thing I ordered.
I really hate the fact that we can't check on the status of our orders ourselves, and that they're basically saying that they will ignore us for a week. A lot of people are understandably concerned and have a lot of questions, and they should be doing their best to answer them.

Have you ever been to Woot when they're having a Woot-off? It gets craaaaazy.
Also Amazon gets more visitors than Lockerz does, and I've never experienced slowdown on Amazon even on Black Friday.

I don't fault Lockerz for having shitty servers, since good ones are expensive, but they're lying when they say that they couldn't improve things. Basically they're running on small business servers, and they need to be running on global corporation servers.

Leaked by who? I got the e-mail about the redemption times AFTER they posted them on Facebook. So did everyone else I know who uses the site.
Even if they were "leaked" there was still no reason for Lockerz to post them on Facebook and alert the millions of users there about the dates/times that they might not have heard about through the leak.
Lockerz shouldn't be blaming their users for their mistakes.

I say go for it!
Just realize you're going to need to set aside at least an hour to get through.
Here's what I did:
1.) Keep clicking until I was finally able to open the Electronics page

2.) Once it loads, DO NOT EVER REFRESH THAT PAGE.
3.) Open the links to things you want in new tabs. Some will be fresh out, some will take you to the "ENTER YOUR INFO" page.
4.) When you get a page to enter your info, do it right away and click confirm. Then wait. The site will invariably bog down at this point.
5a.) If you get a page that says "Lockerz is temporarily down." You did not get your prize. Go back to step 3.
5b.) If you get a weird error page where the tables are broken and it doesn't say much, it probably went through!
When I tried last time my first couple attempts timed out and took me to the "Lockerz is down" page, but after a while I finally got the PSP order to go through and it gave me a weird broken-looking page instead of an error message. About 10-15 minutes later I got a confirmation e-mail.

It's not a "machine."
It's a form anyone can make, on a site that anyone can use.
I encourage other FP users to make their own. It's very easy to use, and it forwards e-mails directly to your in-box instead of having them posted somewhere like this were other folks can snap them up.
If you think it seems like a good idea, why don't you make a form yourself instead of continuing to personally attack me?
