Alright, so a few weeks ago my mom managed to score me an internship as a research assistant for her old friend. They were working on an international project down in Ljubljana, Slovenia, doing simulations about thermoregulation in desert environments. But their climate-chamber where they do the experiments broke down and the day after I flew down there they decided to cancel the project and do it in September instead.

But mom's friend was really nice and fixed so I would get transferred to another project within the same international partnership in the Slovenian Alps where they were doing partial zero-G simulations ordered by ESA (the european NASA).
So right now I'm at a facility 1000m up in the mountains, helping out as much as I can doing tests, measuring heart rates, ventilation rates, blood pressure, oxygen levels in the blood and such. And it's lots of fun.

Especially the test subjects. I suspect [B]at least[/B] 1/4 of them smokes weed (they're mostly students who's volunteering for the tests). For example, subject 10 has dreadlocks and the typical stoner look, subject 14 I think walks around with rastafari and pro-weed T-shirts and I'm pretty sure Subject 5 & 6 came to the tests high both today and yesterday (giggly, red eyes and relaxed as fuck). Most of them are really nice and I'm gonna try to hang out with them after work, even though one is not supposed to get too friendly with subjects for some reason. Maybe they can help me out getting some weed, since I have no idea where the fuck to find any in the middle of nowhere like this.

The nature is stunningly beautiful as well, I was gonna post a video where I've climbed ~150m to reach the start of a waterfall on the mountain side, the view of the valley was really nice, and it felt so rewarding. But the internet here in my room is pretty slow and it would take to long to upload. I might add some pics later if anyone cares-

Only thing I can complain about is my lack of weed, haven't smoked since the day before I left Sweden last Saturday.

There's also a really funny Greek guy who is in the same lab. He always messing with the 62 years-old Swedish heart-expert and he's always making sexist jokes and keeps messing with the subjects. Also when subject 5 mentioned he had smoked a cigarette he asked "What kind? The green maybe? It gives much better and stable results than normal ones." then he just continued as normal after smiling a bit.
