This is one of the stupidest threads I've seen in a while.

cents don't really count
Then it rounds to 667
555.55 is was too little and 777.77 was too much.
But 666.66 was just right. :downs:

No, this is Facepunch. We're all mature adul-- pffff hahaa
actually now that I look back on what I said...I probably should have worded it as "lighten up a bit". sounded a bit harsh there, sorry :(
rounding does not apply with money. If it costs $666.66, the average person would give the cashier $667, but this does not change the price as you will receive 34 cents in change.

Yes but the joke here was 666. The failure here was that 666 and 2/3 isn't the number of the beast. 666 is. Exactly 666.

If we can make up numbers we might as well change everything.
That apple is 20 cents! HOLY SHIT 666!
It's Thursday today! Did anyone notice how close that is to spelling 666?!

within reason, buddy. for the sake of the joke.
They released the iPad today, and it sucks.
Sorry, I just wanted to let my anger out as I type this from my glossy-white Macbook.
According to Stephen Fry, who is a member of Mensa, the number of the beast is actually 616 because Revelations was originally a number puzzle and they miscalculated.
Otherwise, rules of math take presidence over the joke. Cents do count as much as the decimals in Pi. I don't find Apple evil since some of their products are actually very good, I don't see the point in claiming that it is because of the pricing on one of its early products.
and yet, the quality of Xbox Live is superb. also, where does it say Microsoft literally forces developers to charge for game updates and content - i'm actually curious...
inb4moarappleorsonyfanboys
Xbox Live =/= Superb
Retards and Kiddies every corner on Xbox live. PS3, all mature.
Alot of people disregard cents for some reason, and it drives me nuts. Someone will see something for $19.99 or $19.95 and say "Oh, it's only $19!" when it's actually closer to $20. It's a gimmick used by retailers every time to make items appear that much cheaper to alot of people.
Fixed. And yes, when you look for the first seconds, your brain things it costs only 19.
