His opinion makes sense to me. He can't relate to biggie so he's not too down with him. That's what i'm getting anyways.
My point is when you sink low enough to sell crack then have to spread your voice to the world, don't glorify dumb shit like that.

he sold crack when he was like 15. it was pretty much what you had to do to survive in the projects during the crack epidemic.... nas talked about selling crack in illmatic, wu-tang clan talked about selling crack, it was a real thing for them thats why they sing about it...

Still is a real thing, but Big wasn't on the edge, he sold crack so he could live the fly life.

I wouldn't go that far, but I do get what you're saying. Selling crack and other hard drugs is a poison to your community, you're basically ruining any new clientele's lives to better your own. The result is a few dealers living well (until they're caught) and the rest of the community being incapable of doing shit but pray for their next fix.

Always makes me laugh. For some reason talking about junkies made me think of Gil Scott-Heron.

Yeah, thought it was weird for a dude with a wu tang username to come down so hard on rapping about crack when that's been like Raekwon and Ghost's entire career haha

The dealers aren't the problem, the problem is people wanting crack in the first place
Dealers don't go getting people hooked, they supply a product that people want

They can't get crack if no one sells it.
