I'm currently investing in the Maschine from Native Instruments myself. At first I was always eying akia's stuff with the mpc's and what not but I've been convinced by a few people I know that the maschine takes production simplicity to a new level and I think it would suit my style of thought. i don't know dude i own an MPC and it's pretty much the greatest and most fun thing i've ever used, the way you can cut up beats and the sound is just incredible but then again i enjoy a sound that's really grimy and sampled from vinyl so that's my pick

From what I've researched, the Maschine can do everything an MPC can do. If you have the time, watch this video. He grabs most of his samples from vinyl too. So, I just started listening to rap. I've barely gotten into it, I like a little bit of every music type, so I wanna know where to start. I listened to a bit of Sean Price, and I'm likin it. I'm likin NWA too.
