lcn
Winner, I love La Coka Nostra, specifically their more "hard" sounding songs, songs like "Cousin of Death" aren't my type of thing but they're still decent. Anyway, more One Be Lo... THE UNDERGROUND. The tickets were only like $30 too, but I bought tickets to the Caps - Senators game instead, which I don't regret because that game was fucking awesome and I had dope seats.
I might go see J.Cole tickets probably aren't that expensive.
I considered driving the 5 hours just to go see him.. it's definitely worth it, especially since you said they're cheap.
Camp comes out the same day as Saints Row The Third. November 15 will be a good day.
I considered driving the 5 hours just to go see him.. it's definitely worth it, especially since you said they're cheap.
Especially since he's still playing in venues that are too small for him now. see him now before tickets get butt fuck expensive [editline]26th October 2011[/editline]
Camp comes out the same day as Saints Row The Third.
I'm sure it's been posted before, but damn why is this guy still underground
Hopsins the first psycho rapper that would probably do better sticking to being a psycho and not rapping.
Hopsins the first psycho rapper that would probably do better sticking to being a psycho and not rapping.
he is good... dont hate him just because he dissed tyler
he is good... dont hate him just because he dissed tyler
He's not a bad rapper but the whole "physcho" persona feels way too forced. The constant repeating of "hip hops dead I'm the best" when he's not very unique doesn't help either.
What are you guys' thoughts on scratching on tracks?(When it's done well of course) I personally love it, and I would be glad to one day see more mainstream artists include some onto their tracks. Even RnB songs would sound good with it.

You can still hear it on a lot of mixtapes. [editline]29th October 2011[/editline]
he is good... dont hate him just because he dissed tyler
Hopsin is technically very skilled, it's just a shame that he wastes that ability by channeling it all into sounding exactly like 90s Eminem. Oldschool hip-hop purists love him for that reason, but imo he's bringing absolutely nothing new to the table, and what the genre needs is people pushing it forward and creating new sounds, not trying to pull it backward.
Scratching needs to come back. and DJs. The breakdancing can stay in the 80s.

only rap i listen to now are The Game Tyler the Creator Blue Scholars Kid Cudi NWA Public enemy someone should make a spotify collab playlist for this thread
I only listen to DMX, NWA and Eazy-E's solos, DMX, and 2Pac. But every now and then I listen to other artists that I do not listen to normally. A playlist for this thread sounds pretty cool.

Anyone listen to Chip Tha Ripper?
