Isn't that referencing this?

well he says toejam so obviously he mentions that, but what else would Earl mean? especially considering the fact that he referred to islands and Earl is supposedly on the isle of Samoa
I don't know what you guys think of him, but damn, I think MF DOOM could spit on literally any track in existence:

I know you guys from music section like trashing my songs so trash this one for me please. Leave out the fact that it has bad quality though because that is obvious.
Only recently chucked all my old rockist pretentions (aka long after I stopped regularly posting here) and discovered other kinds of music. Currently, the rap/hip-hop I've heard is generally of the late 90's/early 80's vintage - Wu-Tang Clan, Public Enemy, A Tribe Called Quest, that kind of thing. Good stuff. So, I'm now looking to broaden what I already know/like about this kind of music, and more importantly to get aquainted with more recent stuff, and I suppose this looked like an obvious place to stop by and ask.
New MF Doom track, collab with Jonny Greenwood and Thom Yorke. (it sounds amazing and i put it down to doom and jonny, for the strings and epic percussion) I get the feeling Yorke did a limited amount on this, Jonny definitely deserves more credit.

Only fat nigga in the sauna with Jews
Went and got a yacht, I'm talkin' Carnival cruise
And these niggas talkin' like hoes, they mad they not in my shoes

lol what
lol what
Lupe Fiasco and Bobby Ray are saving hip hop, Lil Wayne is going with the flow of drugs, girls, and money.
Hip hop is music made to be about whatever the fuck the rappers spits about and for the people that wanna listen to it my man.
No I mean, how can you say Lil Wayne is killing rap, and then turn around and you say you like Drake
it's just
what
i dont even
Why is Slug always better when he is featured on tracks than on his albums?
No I mean, how can you say Lil Wayne is killing rap, and then turn around and you say you like Drake

I was the same way. I remember being like 11 or 12 and I got my first PS1. All I had were PS magazine demo disks and 1 had the trailer for Wu Tang: Shaolin Style on it

This one to be exact. I watched that trailer everyday after school until I finally got the game for Christmas one year. Then a few years back my bro turned me onto Enter the 36 Chambers. I absolutely hated hiphop until that point. Wu Tang is more than a music group. Wu Tang is a way of life.
