I bought mine for like a house gun to keep loaded.
Can anyone point me to a website where I can look at the bills being proposed or voted on tomorrow?
...Did you just call a Maverick 88 a NORINCO MADE MOSS500?They're the 'economic' model of the 500, made by Mossberg, although assembled in Mexico if I remember correctly. On the subject of cheap/midrange shotguns, Maverick 88 for cheap.Mossberg 500/Remington 870/Winchester 1300/Mossberg 590/Ithaca Model 37 for mid-range.You can find all of those shotguns for cheap when they're used, especially a I37 or the 88.
Sorry, I'm thinking of the H&R Pardner Pump. They are made by Norinco, imported by Freedom Corp/Marlin. They are a copy of the 870. My bad. [editline]11th April 2013[/editline] I REALLY want a full size, IWI Marked Jericho 941 in .40S&W... but I'm also considering other options. If I didn't get the Jericho, I'd want a nice Single Action, exposed hammer pistol. Recommendations? Any price point, because I will be spending a lot of money for my "ideal/perfect" handgun. DA/SA is ok, but no DAO/Glock Style. It HAS to have a Single Action mode, ideally it would allow Hammer-Down, Loaded Barrel carry.
I was also thinking about getting a double barrel shotgun. Primarily because my dad is too lazy to get his Sears & Roebuck shotgun fixed. Any suggestions. And don't you dare suggest Parker. I doubt anybody here could or would purchase one.
Okay, I'm planning to buy a cheap-ass shotgun for skeet shooting, but I can't decide between a Mossberg 500 and Remington 870. Which should I get?
As everyone else here can attest to; I'm a big Remington 870 fan. I'd say spend a little bit more and try and find a R870 Wingmaster in 16ga. Mine is easily the best gun I've ever used for skeet shooting and bird hunting. Do be warned, that while ammo is harder to find, it is thankfully the same price typically as 12ga. You just may be forced to shop for it online as opposed to going down to your local store and grabbing a case or two.
I also thought about just saving enough so I can get a Saiga, just so I can see the club members' reactions when I bring it to the club to shoot skeet.
I like the way you think.
http://marstar.ca/dynamic/product.jsp?productid=74819 God damnit Canada
I remember in the 90s they had deals like this in the states. My father's friend went out and bought an SKS that came with a crate of surplus ammo for dirt cheap as part of a deal.

Browning? Beretta?
Just an FYI, it looks like Remington sold us out. http://www.wham1180.com/pages/localnews.html?feed=122742&article=11042313

I wish I could have been able to buy guns way back then.

Times were good back then.

I remember when I was like 16, I googled "ak47 for sale" and it came to Atalantic Firearms with a WASR with polymer furniture, 3 mags, bayonet, sling, cleaning kit and carrying case for $400 and thinking "that's way too high! Ill never buy a gun!"

Looks like I am not buying Remington, not like I did to begin with.
It's not like moving your entire production plant is an easy decision or task, or cheap for that matter.

Think they went for $500ish back before the craziness.
Update: Carbine stock fit with some filing, and the upper handguard was way too fucking wide for the stock, so I had to file the piss out of it. Then after I had completed fucking up the factory finish on the furniture, I put dark cherry stain on it and a coating of linseed oil on it. YAY ME. Soon I'll get a flat bolt, type 1 barrel band, push safety and flip rear sight YAY
Considering scoping my PTR91... Maybe a Vortex Viper 1-4x24. Opinions?
[t]http://filesmelt.com/dl/IMG_20130411_154455.jpg[/t] Fuck you too Duluth. Range day is saturday.
Fire rapidly, your gun will keep you warm.
Considering scoping my PTR91... Maybe a Vortex Viper 1-4x24. Opinions?
Supposed to be a really good scope, from what I hear. Would look really cool on a claw mount.
Fire rapidly, your gun will keep you warm.
That is how we kept warm when we did a range cleanup a few years ago. So my M1 Carbine's barrel's parkerization is rubbed away where the old barrel band was. How difficult is re-parkerization of a small dime-sized spot, and if it's not possible, can I match it with any type of paint? Thanks.

It's messy and hard to do in small areas
Probably gonna have to get the whole thing stripped and refinished, I'd just leave it be.
