No, not moral absolutism at all. It's a rational process, everyone makes their own decisions. Even aside from philosophy, it's pretty damn difficult to refute that on a rational basis. That one person knows best for more than themselves. The only people who want to think that has anything to do with morality are the people who want to force their world view on others. First off, know that the general uninformed public (Facepunch) has the dumbest views on drugs.
The best thing you can do is talk to her about it. Opiates are not the most unhealthy drugs, the problem is all in how addictive they are. The danger is financial, as well as from withdrawals and an overdose.
Introduce her to cannabis if she hasn't already tried it, it's enjoyable and much safer. Don't hide her drugs or call the police, unless you want her to hate you.
I just got her to promise me and herself that she would quit, cutting 10mg off her oxycodone dose a week sounds fine right?
I'd say if she's going to quit she should go to a fucking doctor and not the internet.
Then again the likelihood that you're telling the truth plummets when you consider the whole internet thing, in that case go cold turkey it doesnt hurt
Yeah...I have the same problem with one of my friends. She keeps doing meth. I can't get her to stop. I keep trying to talk to her but she wont listen. Hope you can get your girl friend away from that shit.
Let her take a double dose and then make her go cold turkey the day after.
