If he could do it >45 seconds I would be impressed. Using the easiest method you can get down to around 50s if you're good. Fastest I've ever done is :56.
Need to pick the cube back up again.

Could be staged, and if you know the system, which is easy as hell, theres no problem in solving it that fast, he still is a dumb little kid.
Stupid. There's sequences you go through that I was taught in fifth grade. Not that hard at all to do it in less than 90 seconds if you know the methods good enough.
It also helps to have a well lubed cube(Vaseline).
