punishment is not a good way to teach children. fucking shitty parents, ruining another two kids lives.
"You broke the bathtub so have a cookie" I see no logic behind this.
I wonder what the mom was thinking when it shot up to 15 grand :v:

Speaking of beyblade, there was a beyblade ripoff called spintops and one kid had one of those at school. During one beyblade "battle" his Spintop was hit by my Beyblade and it shattered and the metal ring took off like a fucking rocket and hit another kid in the eye. He started crying and had to go to the school nurse.
I should buy them and post pictures of me burning them.

We were playing with beyblades in my arena made out of reinforced lego blocks, aluminum plates and pencils. So at one point he decided to pull out his Spintop. He knew that it was risky since it wasn't actually resembling the originals, but he tried anyways. Long story short, his Spintop got completely shattered and we got ourselves a couple of bruises and scratches. Not that he regretted it, tho, he had a lot more beyblades than me.
B... Beyblade? This is 2011 , not 2004
I had a beyblade with a metal disk, and it would pretty much destroy any other thing which would come into contact with it. Also it made sparks across the ground. Shit was boss.
Oh man, that reminds me on this
Those beyblades are expensive. I remember buying mine for 25 euro.
I think I still got one of the originals somewhere.

I never bought into the whole beyblade thing as a kid. Maybe because I didn't want to spend like $30 on brand name spinning tops.
Jesus, kids still play with those? I though that fad died LONG ago. I like how the older kid is crying while is younger brother is taking it like a fucking man.
These aren't even the good original Beyblades, they're the shitty new ones. If they were likes these the price would be justified because some nerdy collector would want them because they aren't made anymore. [img_thumb]http://www.freewebs.com/adhookai/oo1.jpg[/img_thumb]
Wow I had all of those and more when I was little.
How does one break a bathtub with a beyblade? They either strapped knives onto those things or the bathtub is cardboard.
This. I'd also like to see some sort of time frame for the damage, and the damage itself.
I had the shit purple beyblade, my brother told me if I put on a plastic 3/d thingy we had and spun it fast enough a hologram would appear Guess what I spent all summer doing
I coulda sworn I still had some of these lying around, but I guess I sold them at a garage sale or something. I could never find anyone to play with because only old people live around me. Such is life in florida...
i used to get the cheap ripoff asian ones because they made big sparks they were bad ass good times
I remember having these.
I used to have this badass thin gold one, it would always win, I wonder what happened to it?
We used to have Beyblade battles at school. I only had one and it was always defeated by everyone elses :(
I remember going to a arcade at the mall near me and spending around $20 on tokens so I would have enough tickets to buy this cheapass nockoff top called SUPER BATTLE TOPS. Took it to my friends house were we had the greatest nostalgic minute ever, they then proceeded to break. First his broke, shattered a old PC monitor, then mine blew up and hit his cat. I wish I had my original ones back, they got banned at my school for kids sharpening the blades and making huge chips in the exterior walls of the school.
I feel as if I missed out since I never had a Beyblade.
Reminds me of my Beyblade days, where I would modify the attack rings so they were sharp enough to cut flesh [editline]5th February 2011[/editline] and would use everything roughly bowl shaped as a battle arena thinger
We used to have bayblade matches during lunch in the philippines. We used shapened metal sides and we never got in trouble :smug:
I had a friend when I was 11 who legitimately believed there were spirits in his Beyblade.
This is great! this will teach the little shits to not ruin a fucking bathtub!, and whovever said punishment is not a good way to teach kids get fucked, this is teaching them that they are responsible for the damage they caused and have to deal with the concequences of their actions, im sick of bleeding hearts saying they should let kids do whatever the fuck they want..
There's people a year younger than me, grade 10, nearly adults who still play Yu-Gi-Oh. Not only do they play Yu-Gi-Oh, but sometimes they even wear these things. [img_thumb]http://www.comparestoreprices.co.uk/images/yu/yu-gi-oh-duel-disk-accessory.jpg[/img_thumb] They SCREAM OUT what cards they're playing, and take it seriously too; they don't snicker to themselves like it's a joke or something, they just scream shit like "AND I LAY THIS CARD FACE DOWN. YOUR TURN, PATRICK." and such. I think something is in the town's water.
Record a duel them upload it to youtube.
