I'm more than likely going to end up buying this jacket unless I can find a vest of similar price that would be better for my needs and now I can't think of anything else I could do.
Is the vest a SAAV? If so, post the dimensions of the mag and i'll see if it's got any pockets that could fit those.
IIRC, the vest has a bunch of fairly lengthy pockets, not sure if they're lengthy enough, though.
get a blackhawk medic vest
it can store p90 mags, so it can store ump mags too
alternatively get a molle vest of some form and get ump mag pouches
molle is always good route for expansion later

Yeah you can normally get a really cheap molle carrier like an RRV or something and then get some TMC pouches on there.
I use a Blackhawk vest and its M4 pouches can store P90 mags no problem, so it wouldn't be a terrible choice. You do lose the flexibility of MOLLE though.
