I have never been there and is hva loyal but to me imo they seem very flashy and it seems like their buildings are too...bland and just, square- youre right about HVA though, fun and community yo, I could hang out there and not even play and have a blast.
What I DO know is that a lot of people who have caused problems at HVA have gone to zulu, and I won't lie, to move from NJ just to open a field literally a mile from an existing field, I understand business is business but it's kind of a dick move to go to another state with the goal of competing with another field, not even to offer to cooperate on events and stuff (which is kinda sad because I know Mich would have been willing to work with them when they first opened if they just pitched the idea to him.)
its really hard for me to go to HVA because unless my mom feels like staying in the area for a few hours, I have to go with a friend (which isn't that bad, but all of my friends are nooby fucks). And the only friend that I am willing to go with that actually can drive, always has some bullshit reason that he can't go.
actually drigz offered to take me with him when he goes but my mom is convinced he is a serial killer rapist thug gangster druggie

My friends are the same. If I were you, I'd just go, ditch them for the day, and chill with people you know. I used to play with my friends a lot but I sacrificed playing every weekend to only airsofting every month or so for a better day and a better community.
