Galaxy MP5K and JG G36 are still easy to find in America. Airsplat has the Galaxy, pretty much everywhere has the JG. Get them while they're hot.
Alternatively, I've seen the Galaxy overseas for as cheap as $60, but they're very often sold out.

So today I went to another WW2 themed party in uniform. Much fun was had, including some members carefully taking my M-1910 shovel out of its holder and replacing it with a shovel from the fireplace while I was wearing my web gear, and having a small springer war with some desert eagle AEP's in the backyard in uniform. I also traded my original WW1 uniform (pants, shirt, rare screwback medical corps collar disk) for a jeep cap, flashlight, new canteen cover, gook flag, original unissued 1944 dated life belt, and a couple K-Ration boxes. I also bought an SS reversible camo smock for $40. YAY ME
