That's pretty much what I did. Stuck a screwdriver between the rubber and the frame and pulled the rubber out.

It's p fun to play with but I don't have much use for it other than shooting rats.
Okay, so on yesterday's meeting with our group, I was "used" for training on how to deal with machinegun positions. Basically I got onto a nice, well protected position and ambushed the group when they were walking on a nearby road, their task was to flank me and take me down.

I saw the largest, and best charge we've ever done at the field I go to. In under 20 minutes, we took a bunker, took another one, and pushed the enemy all the way back to their spawn. Funnest experience there!

and I have no idea how the fuck you are supposed to

2. tie dental floss around the bucking
3. fit that shit inside the chamber

Take a pair of needlenose pliers, stick them through the bucking and grab the lip at the opposite end, then pull and the bucking turns inside out. Take a hobby knife and gently slice along the bucking to get rid of the mound and rib. Turn the bucking right-side out. Place the bucking on the barrel and lubricate appropriately, make sure it's properly seated. Wrap in dental floss, keep it tight, tie it off, use a BB to check you haven't distorted the bucking (if it falls through the bucking, you have, and need to re-tie the floss).
Shouldn't take more than ten minutes.

I was looking at the hop up unit on my friends ICS m4 that i am working on, so I decided to remove the barrel that I installed in it and figure out why it wasn't hopping BBs properly. I cupped the unit with my hand and slowly pried open the barrel clip. It popped out and snuck between my fingertips where it found the floor. It bounced and rolled a few times and then, I watched in horror as it bounced right into the heating vent on my floor and I hear it dinging against the metal for the next few seconds on its nice journey down into the abyss of never-getting-that-shit-back.

Maybe because i've always been exposed to them and known of them and generally gotten tired of seeing it but i think they're ugly and only made more ugly with the RIS systems on the front and acogs and bullshit like that.
The only L86 variant i even remotely like is the LSW version and apparently that's a massive heap of shit irl and the airsoft ones aren't much better.
