I was looking at the A&K M249s but I have tried playing a round with a 15+ pound gun and it wasn't very enjoyable.
A&K M249s aren't 15+ pounds, try 10 at most. Timebomb and I weighed my Mk43, it's 13.5lbs unloaded, and much more awkward to shoulder. If the weight is a serious concern with an MG, you're doing it wrong. You should be deployed in cover with as little exposed as possible, providing suppression for the rest of your squad. Once the bipod's out the weight doesn't matter. If you try to use an MG the same way you use a rifle, though, then of course it's going to be awkward and annoying.
which is why I will probably get an ICS L86 LSW the only proper length barrel I could find for it is an aim top steel 6.03. would that be fine?
which is why I will probably get an ICS L86 LSW
Any particular reason that model? There's nothing it does that a regular L85 can't, because you can't use drum mags in the L86. You're limited to spraying high-caps at best and you could do that with any rifle.
Field rules. Semi only unless in the woods but full if you have a lmg

catbarf is one of the few airsofters that opts for practicality and honey badger does what he wants when he has the money to aim for other "name brand" things. that's why he runs a crossdraw and doesn't have a problem with it and made a custom spas-12 i want to be like him when I grow up
M16A2 LMG!!!! IMO its a perfect AR-LMG platform.. -Long barrel -put a A&K boxmag in it -Mine takes a MASSIVE battery -P. comfortable to use and takes normal Stanags if you take the box mag out (had to mention) -Bipod available I would just carry the boxmag in the gun and 6 normal midcaps in my pouches, then shove the boxmag in my big 'ol buttpack when its all out.
except its an m16 everyone has an m16
RPK then
except its an m16 everyone has an m16
nop. I haven't seen another M16A2 ever on the field or in the staging area.
T77 comes tuesday. I am the excite
MG36 maybe? Or do those not count. I get my G36 parts this week c: then I might actually have a good gnu for once. That said, both my AK and my Classic Army were awesome for the short periods of time that I had them, and I love my MP5k c: I love airsoft.
I'm considering sanding down the ejection port on my 1911 to have it look like this. [t]http://img91.imageshack.us/img91/4211/portwf5.jpg[/t] (Not my picture obviously) But I'm unable to decide if i should or not, it would get rid of the ugly wear that it has right now though. I kinda want to lurk buy/sell forums and buy a used Type 89 with a Skeleton stock and put a Laylax rail kit on it. I may just buy the Mid-Sized Outer barrel and Standard length rail system and use than and than when I get another Type 89 or I feel like dropping more money get the short-short rail and barrel so I can switch it between different lengths when I need to. (Albeit difficulty) Whenever I get the money. They're hard to find so I should get them before they go out of stock never to be seen again. It's like $200 for just the Mid Barrel and RIS. I have a Birthday on the 28th but I'm getting a Kriss from my Dad and my Mom/Sister are going to get me that PVS-14 with the LCD screen in it because my Mom thinks it's not going to be that bad, since it's just basically a night vision camera and she used to sell them, for like ten years so she knows better than me the quality of something like that.

My bbs hit the inside of my barrel extension on my MP5 and they like curve insanely
a whole 2 cm won't murder his bbs i run a 455 in my 494-length g36e and it's fine

The L86 is a neat gun, and if your field has special rules for MGs then it could be useful, but it's hard to provide suppressive fire (which is the point of an MG) when you have to keep winding hicaps or constantly change midcaps. It's one thing to use a gun that might not be the most practical, but it's another to use a gun that isn't any better at its intended role than a regular rifle. It's a pretty cool gun, but at about your seventh awkward bullpup mag change you'll be wondering where you went wrong in life. As an AEG there's nothing wrong with it, since it's effectively a longer L85, but as a support gun you could do better. I think an M249 would be a better choice, and would be easier to carry since the weight goes on both of your arms rather than all centered over the pistol grip.

Worked great until it got shot out in the killhouse. RIP it was a good day. :v:

Do any military 1911's come with a chrome/unpainted ejection port?
The part you see on the ejection port is the chamber and the back end of the barrel, so just find a chrome/stainless steel barrel and you're good to go. I don't think chrome/stainless steel barrels are difficult to come by for 1911s.
I heard KWC 1911's weren't compatible with any other aftermarket barrels though. This is how it looks like. [t]http://i.imgur.com/R4gjc.jpg[/t] [t]http://i.imgur.com/vAzyx.jpg[/t] Sorry for the huge images.
-snip- My bad, misread
KWC
