just take pliers and wrench the orange tip off of the front of the compensator it won't do anything bad unless you somehow fuck up and then it'll only scratch the compensator or front sight

It also looks like some sunnyside xylol will remove the spraypaint from plastic without dissolving it, I put some on a paper towel and wiped it a bit on the charger housing I tested the paint on, and with effort it's wiping off. The ugly blue handguards will soon be gone!

Just FYI a 101 is just a 74 in 5.56mm, so for airsoft purposes there's no difference.

Well fuck, I was set on getting a WE M4 and I just checked evike and they're out of stock as of today. Redwolf has them for a bit cheaper, but shipping puts the gun and mags just over my price limit. Oh well. I guess I'll just have to wap my wad on the counter and wait until they come back in stock. Shouldn't be long, right? Evike gobbles WE's dick almost as much as ASGI sucks on KWA's

I don't think we need any awards to know IFAP is a good airsoft forum. Might not be the best, but it's certainly the best i've been on.

I'd rep a mutinous creations ifap crossover patch or just a straight up mutinous creations one if it was free.
So I've officially saved up enough for the SR-3. Now I just have to save up enough dosh to deal with $40 midcaps and $80 hicaps before it comes out in February/March.
Now my only decision is if I go with it prebuilt or if I make a kit with my own fancy gearbox.
As far as I hear, its a standard LCT AK type 3 gearbox, and I'm curious what the difference between AK and G36 boxes are. My KWA G36 has a fantastic gearbox shooting at oudoor speeds, which I'd really like to use for OP Blacksheep, but 99% of the time I'll need to have the gun shooting 330 or less for CQB, so I'm curious how hard it is to modify my G36 gearbox as a backup.
Also, any recommended complete CQB gearboxes around? I was thinking a lonex with an M90 or M100 would probably be a good choice.

just look into the SR-3 body as well, since iirc the Vintorez and Val have a funny selector behind the trigger so there might be funny business going on with the gearbox
