Buy kneepads that can be tightened until they're ~1inch diameter. May sound crazy, but if they're sliding, they're too big. That's why I got Arc'Teryx Knee Caps. Best thing ever.

if you cant afford arcteryx $60 kneecaps
that's also viable, but would look "ghetto" to me, if I used it. Best bet is integrated.
I use the xtak kneepads for my fsb impression and they never slip. Love them to pieces to be honest.

Got myself one of these. Melted down the inside styrofoam to fit my massive head and got it comfy as fuck. Now what to do to the outside? I've got a NVG mount for my gopro, so I was considering throwing a FAST mount on it, velcro in this configuration:

Skate socks are the best for boots, they're so comfy, and they have extra padding on the heel. They're thick enough so you wont get blisters, either. I'm using addidas ones right now, Nike SB's I bet are good too.
