High torque motor on highspeed gears normally means high rate of fire. Perhaps its just the 7.4v lipo, but that seems suspicious.

I'm thinking about getting a hard dropleg like a serpa or one of the g-code ones. its hard to draw my pistol from my belt with my OTV on and the dropleg I have is a soft one and it gets really floppy with a pistol in and I cant keep a mag in it and the hardshell ones would fix that, right?
Yes. Those all are reasons to go for a hard-shell drop-leg. It's why I run one. Just wear it as high as you can while still clearing your gear and it'll be fine.

agree for FAL, disagree for G3,funny for M14, winner for MP5, and I guess zing for KWA GBB MP7, and informative for Umarex AEG MP7
Other than $50 mags, the kwa mp7 seems awesome as hell.
Having fired a KWA MP7 and now owning an MP9 I can safely say the MP9 is much better
