The weather on the weekends is always SHIT now, this is why I wish there were CQB places near me. The people who run the outdoor field I go to used to have a CQB place but they shut it down last year.
I haven't gone airsofting once this vacation, what a waste.

Nah I'm probably getting the tan one.
Had a decent day skirmishing, downside was two CoD kiddies who weren't in touch with reality and used the game as a source for their "facts", aside from that thank god they knew how to play.
My finest moment (almost) was when I set down my M4 and took out my springer 1911 and went high speed low drag and took out 2 of 3 opponents in the town area, then I went to get the last guy but I missed when he started turning around. I tried to run into cover through a door but I slipped on mud when he got me with his tri shot. Only the right side of my ass and leg got muddy, I respawned later and scared the shit out of people with my M4 on full auto. The last game we stood in firing lines with our left over ammo, I used my friend's single shot shotty. I was the last one left on my side, and had 4 people with their AEGs pointed at me, we fired and I got one guy out the millisecond before I got hit too.
I lost the attachment part of my sling though, I asked one of the refs to keep an eye out but it probably won't be found. I'll probably have to buy a new one, unless I can improvise with a carabiner. Also my M4 is still having issues, full auto the BBs go far and accurate, but on semi they either fall short or don't shoot out at all (jam). Pressing my mag in a certain direction kind of helps. Anyone got ideas? I was able to trust my springer pistol better.
Went to AEX today to get some BBs
Looked at the ad and there was a Tanaka M40 for $300 and a WE M14 for $275

So just got my WE tech scar OB.
Holy shit it's alot better than the closed bolt in terms of gas efficiency very impressed. Range and accuracy is fantastic though with all gas guns firing rapidly will decrease accuracy but with a slower trigger finger I can still pull off some fantastic shots, already decided it's my new marksman rifle.
Am I the only one who really likes two-tone weapons like this:

We had every unique loadout on the field, and we were acting like dumbasses the whole time it was [I]the best time I've ever had airsofting ever.[/I] I went Gulf War M16A2, Ultimate went 90's US MK43 gunner, Kill001 went 90's Soviet Naval Infantry (correction kill?) with his famous pile of VFC AK's, QQ went 2000's marine with the now dead KWA MK18, and Vityaz went 'Nam speshul forces LLRP with a super kewl TM AK-47. Expect pictures VERY soon, like tonight, of the whole group and some footage soon as well.
Highlights:
-fucking cheaters
-Vityaz's friend's Thunder-B went off in my hand
-I got shot in the ear/neck/kneecap
-Vityaz's nam loaodut was said to be a cool "WWII loadeotu"
-Me and ultimate are totally going 'Nam now
-We got footage of the most bullshit cheating in the history of soft air
-I belly crawled under fire just like the movies and fucked up all my gear, I ran into a wall and snapped my trusty trishot in half, I had some major battle bonding with Ultimate, Vityaz and QQ while Kill disappeared into the trees with the other guks, I got shot in the back of the neck and fell backwards and played dead for a couple seconds unintentionally because it hurt so bad (like point blank asshole shot me), and some other crazy shenanigans that are bound to be posted by the rest of the posse.
10/10 would Code Red again.

So I was running into a narrow opening in a high wooden fence, and with my gun unintentionally bridged across the gap, it snapped the pistol grip off and made it into a master key. I didn't give a fuck so I kept using it with no grip and killed some kiddies. Then when I went to the deadbox everybody laughed at it, and I smashed it over the log they were sitting on because it started falling apart without this back cap thing on it that broke off with the pistol grip. Its bent at a 70 degree angle, with no pistol grip or really any internals now. BONEYARD! Also, the proshop's GHK AKS-74UN is marked as a "GHK AK-474U" [I]not even kidding goddamn[/I]
I just gauged the distance in which my gun can shoot when the pellet drops off all the way into the ground. It's a CYMA CM031C, with Madbull Tightbore, G&G Green Bucking, and element H-Knob (With G&G .28 BB's). I measured around 200ft, but this is more of the maximum range and not the effective range. I can probably hit targets accurately maybe up to 150-170ft.
It really surprised me on how 75 bucks of upgrades can really help.
