Hey maybe Mako was on to something when she said something about the red string of fate during the [sp]battle between Ryoku and the 4 elites[/sp]. Maybe Life Fiber really IS related to the red string of fate, and absorbing said string lets Senketsu change his own and Ryoku's fate?

I've always thought that senketsu gets his eye cut during his first encounter with Ryuko (she slashes him once), but after rewatching it, I'm not so sure
