During the sequence that shows [sp]Ryuko deflecting Ragyo's blades we're shown that tiny little scrap of skin still clinging together, and since Life Fibers can apparently stretch forever (see: Ragyo's severed head, as you mention) the rest of her body can regen as well.[/sp]

Are you guys forgetting that life fibers themselves are nearly invisible? Thats why it was so shocking that nui could pull and tear the main life fiber in uzi's armor. They even showed ryuko having a chunk of flesh in the middle so she probably stretched it.
