the best clearly is Ryuko's theme simply because I GOTTA FIND OUT WHO KILLED MY DAD The problem when comparing songs in a ost filled with great soundtracks is that no one can possibly be wrong

kill la kill has some great themes, but man if I had a link for it. Dairenji suzuka's theme from tokyo ravens is probably my absolute favorite from everything this season so far.

Man, I see a lot of TTGL parallels/references in this episode. I know some people have noted this too: [sp]The bit with the ship ramming the Life Fibers, how it slammed into Ryuuko and not only provided her with the power to cut through the core, but everyone on the ship cheered her on to do it too, then when they're all lined up in front of Ragyo and she's in disbelief, they say something like "Not making sense is our job" which I feel parallels the whole "Making the impossible possible is Team Dai-Gurren's way!" catchphrase. There are also broader parallels, like the other members of the team fighting off the small fry while the hero(s) go after the leader, having a few team members stay behind and manage the ship, etc.[/sp] Edit: Also, the engine room scenes.

This was nice. The new episode came out just as I was all-day powering through these episodes, since everyone keeps telling me it's super good. I'm glad to report they're right. Reminds me a lot of gurren, which was great. That said, I'm going to make a prediction about the fight against the godrobe-hoodie. They're going to get beaten up to near death, then someone's going to use a life-suction-saver to extract that girl from it, reducing the power of the godhoodie so much that rainbow-brite gets viciously torn apart by now-hilariously-overpowered sister protagonists. I'm going to laugh if i'm right.
