It ended pretty much immediately after the final battle, and then all we got was a brief credits montage. I do agree that it should have been a non-actiony episode though. We've already seen the characters fight, let us see them do something mundane. Obviously, the only logical course of action is to make season 2 a 52 episode slice of life anime where absolutely nothing life threatening ever happens.
