lol, yeah shockingly some people don't think it's appropriate or respectable to cry for money on the internet about your shitty relationship with some deplorable vapid e-celeb. Don't they know it's the current year, 2016?
as far as I can tell he doesn't have ads enabled on the video, and it was originally private

I wouldn't know either way because adblock, but the man is a professional vlogger, no? Even if this video were excluded, he's attracting subscribers. The video being private originally sounds like total bullshit, honestly. You set up your camera and filmed a video, transferred it to your computer and uploaded it to YouTube as private (originally), then somehow it accidentally became public? I have a hard time believing that.

Oh my fucking god. How braindead stupid can you be?
Aside from the fact that polygraphs are bullshit I love how he would have to go on her channel so she can just so happen to get all the views and attention and any potential money
You're telling me the guy had never intended for it to be public but oops! Somehow I navigated to my YouTube control panel and switched this video from private to public whoopsie! Oh well, it's too late to go back now!

I'm pretty sure this isn't the first time that kind of thing has happened. A guy I watch on youtube put out his Patreon video publicly on accident a few months ago.
And from my own experience, when you're dealing with depression and shit doing things like this helps. I've written a suicide note before to help with my own depression.
I have zero idea who these two are but can't it be all some kind of "social experiment"?
I don't know, are youtube people allowed to talk about things that are important to them? How exactly do you differentiate between someone saying something important to them and someone trying to make money?

I agree, it's definitely not the first time someone claimed a video was made public on accident. And yeah, communication is important in dealing with emotion, which is why he probably talked to his friends and family about the whole ordeal. If I wrote a suicide note I probably wouldn't upload it to an audience of millions though.

Hes free to post it just like I'm free to criticize. That's kind of how posting things publicly goes, is people weigh in with their opinion on your content, its part of the job.
one thing this video shows is that there are people out there that don't believe men cant get abused in a relationship lol, so yea good job on him

Because certainly youtube has never messed up with video/account privacy in the past, right? And certainly nobody has ever clicked through a bunch dialogue boxes thinking they were for something else, like another video they had pre-recorded and intended to upload that day, then ended up being for the wrong video, no-siree!
And besides, with this upload, as he writes at the very beginning of the video if you actually watched it, was intentionally uploaded after the original video was made public. He originally recorded the video just to express his feelings, and uploaded it privately in case he ever wanted to actually share his story publicly.
With nearly 1 million subscribers, there are bound to be those people who instantly download a video as soon as it pops up in their subscription box in the event it gets taken down, so with any video upload it's too late for big channels to go back and hide/delete videos once they're made public.
But let's just ignore the message* of the video entirely and prove his point, because it's just gosh darn male youtubers cryin' for money ruining my internets, right?
*the message being a man telling of how he went through an abusive relationship, crying out for help, not attention, and trying to tell others, regardless of gender, that it's okay for them to leave and seek help if they ever wind up in an abusive relationship.

Yeah, to my knowledge there's no magic bug in YouTube that makes a private video magically go public, and there's a difference between accidentally uploading the wrong video as public, and uploading a video as private and then changing the status to public later. I'm aware that the current upload is intentional, I'm just saying his story about "oh it was accidentally made public so I may as well upload it anyway!" is most likely nonsense, although to be fair that's only tangentially related to the fact that my initial post was in response to someone complaining about masculinity.

Youtube would make all of a persons private videos public if they got suspended. Dunno why youtube is shit with privacy.
she screamed sociopath to me ever since i saw her videos unintentionallly
I've been in an abusive relationship before. It hits you harder than you would think. You basically start every day feeling like you're not good enough and everything is your fault. Even if you manage to get out the experiences you had in the abusive relationship can some times linger with you, and can put a damper on your ability to trust your future partner.
Good on Matt though for finally opening up himself to talk about it though, I bet he feels a little lighter on his shoulders.

He's gonna fuckin roast Nicole :dogcited:
This video gave me some serious vibes of when I was manipulated (I don't say abused, I don't know if that's me understating it or not) in a previous relationship. The way that Nicole seems to be acting reminds me a lot of how they act when they talk about me to other people. The pain in Matthew's voice is terrifyingly hard-hitting, but I hope people listen to his point- you don't have to be quiet. There are people you can talk to.
I don't understand. Why couldn't he just leave her and that's it? I mean when someone tells you to stop meeting your friends, you shouldn't be with that person in the first place? I'm confused.
Good job on earning those boxes.
I thought this was going to be Michael from vsauce.
In the GradeUnderA video that ripped on her, I posted that her life was pretty much Dee Reynolds but for all the terrible shit Dee did, she never did anything like this.

Dee is also fictional.
