Not really. They THINK he exists, they don't know for sure.

That's Agnostic Christianity, not Christianity in general.

Faith is a terrible way of thinking.

True, but no Christain can ever know good exists 100%.
True, but no Christain can ever know good exists 100%.
But they believe that he does, regardless of them not being able to know.
Too bad we don't follow the bible enough. Them women folk should learn their place and be stoned.
You're right, I have seen the wisdom in your words, Great Prophet Croix. From this day forth I shall endeavour to have all woman-folk I know stoned at least once a day. Or at least a little baked.
But they believe that he does, regardless of them not being able to know.
Why believe in something so silly anyways?
Why believe in something so silly anyways?
why not? if it helps them live their lives then what business is it of yours?

Bible thumpers, WBC, hinders science, has the wrong influence on loads of people, most people don't even truly follow it.

you greatly overestimate the power of WBC. like i said before, human flaws can twist any belief system no matter what it is. if they don't truly follow it then how is the religion at fault?
Awesome, time to get my dicky sticky!
you greatly overestimate the power of WBC. like i said before, human flaws can twist any belief system no matter what it is. if they don't truly follow it then how is the religion at fault?
and then what about when a majority of US congressmen vote no the legalizing stem cell research on religious reasons?

It's at fault for all of the rest of that stuff, and regardless, WBC is still a nuisance, not huge, but still bothersome.
and then what about when a majority of US congressmen vote no the legalizing stem cell research on religious reasons?
blame their personal ignorance.
It's at fault for all of the rest of that stuff, and regardless, WBC is still a nuisance, not huge, but still bothersome.
what stuff?
why not? if it helps them live their lives then what business is it of yours?
none
unless they try to mix their beliefs with politics and science
which they keep fucking trying to do.

which i don't agree with. don't expect me to try and defend that because i can't.
blame their personal ignorance.
Still doesn't excuse all the other stuff. And it wouldn't of happened without the influence of religion.
Still doesn't excuse all the other stuff. And it wouldn't of happened without the influence of religion.
what other stuff? and how do you know that? i'm sure there are atheists that disagree with stem cell research.
Some people take the Bible way too literally, making it seem horrible. The bible is a book of metaphors with many meanings
yes, for example, the laws and regulations for slavery are a metaphor for how god is a dick
what other stuff? and how do you know that? i'm sure there are atheists that disagree with stem cell research.
Religion hindering science with it's huge influence. And yes, there probably is, but next to none at the most.
what other stuff? and how do you know that? i'm sure there are atheists that disagree with stem cell research.
agreed, just as I'm atheist pro-choice and there are atheist pro-lifers, I'm sure there are atheist pro and anti stem cell research
Religion hindering science with it's huge influence. And yes, there probably is, but next to none at the most.
don't blame the religion for the ignorance of it's practitioners.
It's kinda funny how Christians ignore like half of the bible.
don't blame the religion for the ignorance of it's practitioners.
gawd people don't blame the dogs owner when he trains it to bite leg shaped objects
don't blame the religion for the ignorance of it's practitioners.
Why? It brings it out. No religion, no ignorance that causes it. They'd probably still be ignorant, but not as much without religions influence to bring it out.
Why? It brings it out. No religion, no ignorance that causes it. They'd probably still be ignorant, but not as much without religions influence to bring it out.
if you think that there would be no ignorance without religion then you are naive.

because a dog owner specifically training a dog to attack legs is the same as people interpreting a thousands of years old book in a way you don't agree with huh?
if you think that there would be no ignorance without religion then you are naive.
Which I why I said they'd still be ignorant. Learn to read.
Which I why I said they'd still be ignorant. Learn to read.
that's the point though. without religion there would still be the same ignorant people. religion has nothing to do with it.

Oh I perfectly agree with their interpretation, seeing as how it's pretty fucking clear.
that's the point though. without religion there would still be the same ignorant people. religion has nothing to do with it.
It brings out some ignorance in people with what it says. It says gays are bad, which brings out the ignorance in people that gays are bad. Without that influence on people, there wouldn't be as many homophobes. That's just one example.
