The sound of the tools sped up made me feel like fingernails on a chalkboard (which is funny cause the nails on chalkboard sound doesn't give me goosebumps but the sped up grinding sounds did).
When I moved into my new apartment, I had a few beers to celebrate but my beer opener was in one of the move-in boxes. I spent ages smacking them against countertops but it didn't work real good cause there wasn't enough of an edge on the counters. I ended up using my wooden desk and took little chunks out of it, which resulted in really disgusting floaty bits of wood in the beer. Never again.
You can literally open a bear with a folded piece of paper
You can use anything not soft once you get a feel on how it works

In poland we gotta use what we get
I want the rusty axe one for our sauna.
So manly.
Screwdrivers are more expensive than bottle openers, so it's pointless
it's not pointless, you're just missing it
only a real man bleeds in his own drink just opening and drinks it anyways
I did actually drink it and managed not to swallow glass and give myself severe internal bleeding.
Ruining perfectly good and possibly expensive tools in the name of opening beer bottles that could have been opened with said same tools without modification.
This man committed crimes against toolkind.
My swizz knife has a bottle opener that I can also use to open cans with, stuff tobacco hanging out of my homeroll back in, and much more, without any modification that makes the thing useless for its original purpose.
calm the fuck down tim allen, it's his tools who gives a shit what he does
The only bottle opener I need. Always with me too.

Pretty much. A methhead showed me how to open a beer bottle with a lighter when i was still a young bloke and it's pretty much been my go to ever since. I carry a lighter with everywhere and once you get good at it, opening a bottle with a lighter is easy as.
Just having a lighter for things in general is a good idea.
