I personally loved Shattered Memories. Granted I've never played any other Silent Hill game before. I thought it was a fantastically designed game and it had a lot of great things in it. The personality diagnosis at the end in particular was really awesome in my playthrough. Aren't they allowed to mix up the series a bit? Especially if it gets people like me who weren't interested before to actually play one of them?
Well that's the problem, if it is going to change things around it might as well have been a new IP for all you care, but the established fans think differently. It's all about what virtues you want to appeal to, and if you found something that works and is liked, don't mess it up. Shake it up, but never at the expense of what is liked.
DMC2 was terrible but luckily they made up for it in DMC3
Why wasn't MW2 on that list?
Because it had a good singleplayer with bad multiplayer. It was a solid game as a whole, but everyone loves to crack down on it as the "WURST GAME EVAR", when it obviously isn't.
We need a new Dino Crisis. One that's good.

I still hate the community though.
No Mercenaries 2?
i totally agree with sonic getting number three. ever since they decided it was a good idea to put a 3d mode to it, it sucked.
Why wasn't MW2 on that list?
Actually Black Ops would be more fitting. The story to black ops was completely dumb (I liked it, mind you that. I found it to be pretty entertaining) but "OH MY GOD THE NUMBERS! THE NUMBERS ARE IN MY HEAD MAN!! WHY?! OH GOD WHY?!" is a pretty stupid plot. MW2 actually had a well thought-out plot. Secret agent goes to eliminate hostile man in power. Accidentally becomes the fall guy for an even bigger plot. US gets invaded. Boom World War III. It has so many plot twists it's amazing. The only plot twist Black Ops had was that your closest ally was never there in the first place.

Half the time when I spawn in that game I get raped straight away by explosives or killstreaks.

I preferred it when it was only 3 kills for Radar, 5 kills for Airstrike, 7 kills for Helicopter.
DMC2 is good what the fuck
