and it also involves many people doing it (i think)

It's possible to trace ANYTHING you do on the internet to a computer. No matter how many proxy's you're behind, or how many people are doing it with you.

Weirdly enough Garry's fucking around with the server made it slower than the DDOS ever did.

Not only were the servers switched, but the entire forum was updated to vB4. There are bound to be problems and bugs that still need to be worked out.
Similar things have happened in the past, I don't see why everyone is so surprised.

Facepunch seems to be working fine for me, but whenever I read posts in this thread, that's when it starts running slowly. :gonk:

Whoever did the DDOS' did a good job , the site is slow as hell and it's buggy.
