Iron Maiden are planning to release their new album October this year, I think. Should be great.
They said The Final Frontier was going to come out late Summer.
Can't wait.

Kalmah's 12 Gauge is also great.
How could I forget about 12 Gauge, yes, so much yes. Great album.
Also, as already posted, Nifelvind (Finntroll) is a great album.
E.S. Posthumus - Makara is absolutely beautiful, you should all listen to it. Beats their old stuff, and their old stuff was amazing.
Also excited because Northland, Wolfchant, and Equilibrium are working on new albums, Northland and Wolfchant are almost done.
New Parkway Drive album for me
All of the previous albums to me have been some of the greatest stuff I've listened to in a while, so I'm pumped to see if they can top their latest album, which IMO is a masterpiece that cannot be topped.
New Coheed and Cambria sounds pretty good from what I've heard of it. Sounds a lot better than Good Apollo, both of which I didn't like too much as a whole, NWFT being a major disappointment to me.
I'd like to get ahold of Cynics new Retraces EP. the EPK promises amazing things.
new God is an Astronaut and Japandroids could be very cool to hear
agblaughalp
chinese bands blowing my mind sorry

I was unaware they were making an album.
they should have something coming near the end of the year
This just in: Radiohead plans to release a nickelback cover album.
Alcest's and Les Discrets' new albums are fucking brilliant.
Kalmah - 12 Gauge
Just about the only one.
holy shit, i just found out DT's new album and same with Kalmah from the thread, i feel like i've been under a rock
i've REALLY been looking for Wintersun's second album Time which maybe this year it'll come out
Didn't Radiohead say they don't intend to make another album?

Les Discrets > Alcest
Écailles de lune was too inconsistant.
i've REALLY been looking for Wintersun's second album Time which maybe this year it'll come out
Haha good look with that.

12 Gauge is probably Kalmah's best album.
And don't hold your breath, been waiting 6 damn years for that album :v:

First half is wonderful. Second half is lacklustered and silly.
I love the second half. Solar Song is reminiscent of old shoegaze bands while Sur l'Océan Couleur de Fer is nothing short of beautiful, especially in the last 1/3 of the song.
Those songs are simply a veil, hiding the fact that it's just pretty oo's and aa's and lack of inspiration.
Waiting for Immersion from Pendulum, and another project from Sebastien Grainger.
Portugal. The Man's album American Ghetto was pretty good, but not amazing like their first couple. I liked it more than The Satanic Satanist though.
I was really happy with Vampire Weekend's Contra.
Big Echo by The Morning Benders was a great album.
Mono's new live album Holy Ground: NYC Live is fucking amazing.
Massive Attack's album was good.
The new Electric President album seems good so far, but I've only given it a few listens. I'm sure I'll love it soon.
Bright Eyes & Neva Dinova - Two Jugs of Wine, Two Vessels was re-released this yera with 4 new tracks. I love love love love love it. I can't wait for Bright Eyes' final album.
Huh I thought I'd listened to more music this year, but after going through my library, those are the only 2010 albums that I really enjoyed.
