Sort of. I mean, I suppose it's more alternate dimensions, but considering their wishes affect the past, present, and future, it seems reasonable to say time travel.
Kind of, but not in any meaningful way.
There was SO much potential there...especially with Simon. I doubt they'll ever explore that backstory.
Working title for an upcoming episode is Simon and Marcy, so there's a chance there.
In my opinion some of the best episodes in the series were created by Rebecca Sugar. Although I heard that she helped with Jake the Dog, I feel that the pacing was really awkward in this episode, which I blame on the two writers who worked on it. I feel that a two part special like this should have been deeper. One thing that bugs me is that for such a serious episode, they tried to squeeze humor in awkward places which really didn't fit in my opinion, like Marcy farting, the sandwich wish, [sp]the humor for most of the time chamber involving the Cosmic Owl and Prismo[/sp], it all just seemed so unfitting for the mood that should've been conveyed. For example, I think that after such an incredibly well done and emotional episode like I Remember You, where humor was incorporated wisely and discretely but not forced foolishly into unfitting sequences, after watching something like that and going directly to this seemed off, almost like this episode is from a slightly different series. I also thought the pacing was weird in The Lich as well.
I mean, I thought we were in store for a huge arc where Finn/Jake fight the Lich across several worlds or something awesome. Instead, the Lich is useless and everything is the way it was before. There was SO much potential there.
Should I recite the description of the Lich on the poster? The Lich doesn't screw around with wacky (although yes, cool) chase scenes through the various alternate dimensions, He just goes straight to his objective. Quick and simple. Besides, the show has its limits. It's on season 5 now and you can expect there won't be many run-on episodes like something like, say Dragon Ball Z. If there would be, they would be the consistent 2-episodes-directly-connected jig. I agree that it would be cool to have what you anticipated happen, but it's just not the show's frame fit. Don't take that statement heavily because the show COULD have fit that concept but the way it actually is just wont comply with it.
What do you think if this?
Large enough image for dual-screen wallpaper is required.
Ah that was pretty good, but I was expecting it to be longer and for more stuff to happen. So I guess this means Billy is just dead now?

The adventure time episode was dark as fuck for the most part of Jake the Dog, and that's not what the show is about at heart. The time room provided a good contrast to the darkness of Finn's timeline because it was reassurance that there was still normality in the world so it didn't get too scary for kids watching, as it's a kid's show still no matter what people say. Without the humour, it could have alternated between Finn gabbling mentally and screaming and going utterly insane, and then switch to Jake sitting there saying "This is awful" and just piling it on and on. Most of the humour was standard fun AT humour as well, it didn't seem out of place to me at all
I guess I keep forgetting that the show is aimed towards a very young audience.
*Thesaurus*
It's just a bloody children's show you twat, they aren't going to write a book for it.
I would think he would get a beard... Simon did.
But Simon was an aldult already, farmworld finn is 13? 14? v:v:v
Those two new episodes were pretty fucking awesome. It was cool finding out about how [sp]simon stopped the bombs, though that was in the alternate reality[/sp] So I'm not sure, did he actually do that in the normal world?

I find it a bit strange that [sp]in the universe where the Lich is never born, the Lich is still born as mutant Jake.[/sp]
I find it a bit strange that [sp]in the universe where the Lich is never born, the Lich is still born as mutant Jake.[/sp]
[sp]The lich didn't exist until finn created him, Monkey paw effect. That's why you have to be more descriptive when making wishes.[/sp]
